Bought size 9 because I usually wear 8w to 8.5w. Right foot fit perfect. Left alittle snug around bunion but toe area ok. I think they will stretch since they are leather. I like the style and the top of boot fits nice around the lower calf. Even as I am writing this they are becoming more comfortable. Foot bed not super soft but has slight arch support.Update: after a few months the fit is perfect and comfortable. Love these for fall and winter. The real leather has held up well!

These boots are nice leather and look trendy. Comfy too!

I am happy with my purchase of these Sofft Sharnell low boots. I wasn't sure if I'd like the ties in back but now that I've worn the boots, it's kind of cute and I don't notice it. You can loosen or tighten the width of the boot around your calves if needed. Sofft boots generally run slightly on the narrow side around the heel area so they are a good fit for me, as I sometimes need a narrow shoe/boot, but it's not tight in the toe area. I bought the brown suede boots (9.5 M) and am happy with them, and I got them on a deal price! I noted on one of the boots there was like a lighter color chip? on the heel of the boot but I just stained it with a brown marker and it looks fine so I didn't knock off a star for that. This is my fifth pair of Sofft boots (different styles) -- nice looking, well-made, soft leather, and waterproofed!

I love Sofft shoes. This is the first boot I ordered. They are well made and very comfortable. I did not like the bow from the shoe string in the back so I knotted it, tucked it into the tongue area and cut the extra bits off! Fit as expected.

Great boots but I’m returning. I have two other Sofft boots just like these in the same size but from previous years so the shaft is a little different. My first pair fits perfect, my second pair is very roomy and I have to wear thick socks with them. These fit extremely tight and narrow (I have narrow feet so that’s surprising.)

Sofft boots never disappoint. I had a similar style years ago that I wore nearly everyday. I tried a different brand as a replacement and was never happy. I've had the brown pair for a week and ordered the black pair after day one of wearing the first. I have high arches and find it difficult to find comfortable shoes. These were immediately comfortable with zero time needed to break them in. Great quality and definitely worth the price.

I just received my boots and I love them. I ordered a half size up and they fit great. They are quite narrow which is great for me. Comfortable and no break in time. I have a couple other Sofft brand boots and I will continue to order this brand.

Great look and so comfortable! I wore my boots for the first time on a long weekend in Chicago and they are perfect for a walking weekend. No breaking in necessary! In three days, we walked over 30 miles and, as usual, Sofft didn't let me down. I was a little worried about the laces staying tied but that was NOT an issue at all. I ordered the dark brown color ... a great neutral I can wear with anything. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
