Great little crossbow
Just as described, kind of a pain to put the bow string on, but, it works great and is pretty accurate as well, I love it and I'm going to buy another one.

Alright, very cheap crossbow
I think this is alright. The best method for stringing it is probably the one in the YouTube video by Eric Borresen, which doesn't require another person. A trick to this model is that the bow arm actually has a groove running along the entire length of it, like a spine, and you've got to secure this against the end of the stock, not the part above or below the spine. Since it doesn't seat very well, the bow arm came loose after a few shots. So if you want to practice with it, you should keep the hex key with you. Also, it's a little difficult to decide where the middle of the arm is, since it's not marked.I think it's probably a good value for the money. It's definitely a real crossbow, and not like a Nerf crossbow or anything. If what you want it for is shooting targets, then it's maybe alright. But if you're thinking of anything more practical than that, you might up eventually deciding on a different crossbow, weapon, or hunting technique.I don't know if the 80 pound version is much better or different, but you only need this 50 pound one to feel like you have a real crossbow. One more thing is that it does take some muscle to reload. I've been working out for over a year, and I do chin-ups, and I didn't think it was really that easy or quick to load this. It's not like using a water pistol or anything.I bought rail lube and 36 arrows with this, but good luck shooting nearly as many as that your first time trying it out.

Shattered on my first time taking it out shooting cardboard boxes: Junk
Probably about 10 shots in, the back piece started to shatter under the force of the xbow and more and more pieces flew off with each shot. As for the strength and safety of the bow, you'd need to be fairly close (within 6 feet of target) for it to pierce normal cardboard but it's not strong enough to guarantee the arrow sinks in. A few times the arrow did not sink in, it would fly off the cardboard at random trajectories including back at me. Having to be within that 6 foot range I definitely wouldn't recommend this unless you were going fully geared, however a setup like that is a waste with this xbow.I see a lot of reviews saying this is a child's toy for their kids, but I would not recommend this given the safety concerns and the force needed to pull the bow back being greater than what a child could comfortably and efficiently pull.

Very good crossbow. But terribly dangerous.
I bought this little crossbow for my girlfriend to practice with and I love it pretty accurate and enough power to take down some small critters ok for some one like a teenager learning but definitely not a kid but I did find out that glow sticks fit well and are fun to shoot in to trees. instructions are terrible for assembly and hard to put together. But very dangerous and can easily lose an eye the crossbow will shoot if dropped.

Great product!!!! Love it!!! Its not a toy.....
The media could not be loaded. Ok, so, im not sure what all of the bad reviews are about! Like... Did we get the same product? For 25 bux this is a pretty awesome crossbow. The instructions are on the back... But honestly, if you have hands, eyes and common sense its pretty self explanitory. Yea, its hard to string, but thats because ITS A CROSSBOW 😂 the cord shouldnt be loose..... It even says on the box to ask a friend for help stringing it. I found a way to do it on my own. A whole workout. And im like 140lbs 8'7....& If you know how to place the bolt correctly it will not break.

The media could not be loaded. Very powerful and accurate! Just be sure to push the metal bar forwards before shooting. It was hard to assemble, but afterwards, became very fun to shoot!Such a great bargain!
