Renovage Cellular Longevity Serum (1.7 oz)

works, but probably not for the money
Wife has used this for about 3 months. She doesn't claim to notice any difference, but I do. However, how much of that can be applied to this product and not the overall cleaning routine is still up for debate. We are thinking that there are certainly other products that will do the same for less. We aren't unhappy with this facial product, we just think we could spend the money better.

Feels SO Good.
Renovage Cellular Longevity Serum (1.7 oz)I love this serum - it is really more of a lotion and I noticed an immediate change in the texture of my skin. It added a lot of moisture and since I have super dry skin, it just felt like water being infused and fine lines were plumped up right away. There is no real fragrance and one pump was enough to cover my whole face. It also isn't greasy and made my skin feel like silk. It layers well with the other product in this line. I am such a fan of this Korean skincare system that this is something I want to use forever. It also contains titanium dioxide which acts as a sunscreen and works well with my skin. It also plays nice with my foundation.#alcohol-free #fragrance & essential oil-freeKey IngredientsAntioxidant: Ergothioneine, Vitamin E Acetate, Ubiquinone, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) Extractcell-communicating ingredient: Teprenone, Tripeptide-1, Retinyl PalmitateSkin-identical ingredient: Squalane, GlycerineSoothing: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Gel), Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) ExtractSunscreen: Titanium DioxideALL INGREDIENTS BY FUNCTIONBuffering: Triethanolamine, TromethamineChelating: Disodium EDTAColorant: Mica, Titanium DioxideEmollient: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lecithin, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate, Squalane, Cetyl Alcohol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Methyl Glucose SesquistearateEmulsifying: Lecithin, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Zea Mays (Corn) OilMoisturizer/humectant: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Gel), Methyl Gluceth-20, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, GlycerinePerfuming: Zea Mays (Corn) OilPreservative: Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl ButylcarbamateSolvent: Purified WaterSurfactant/cleansing: Cetyl AlcoholViscosity controlling: Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Cetyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTAIngredientsPurified Water, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Gel), Methyl Gluceth-20, Teprenone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Tripeptide-10, Citrulline, Tripeptide-1, Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Squalane, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Ergothioneine, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Glycerine, Dimethicone, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalcipherol, Squalane, Vitamin E Acetate, Ubiquinone, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Carbomer, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Disodium EDTA, Tromethamine.

gentle, non irritating, reduces redness, little goes long way, soft supple skin
Osmotics Cosmeceuticals is for women or men. No added scenting. Their products (I have tried several) have been effective on my 40 something dry skin. I find that while this serum is like a thin lotion, it isn't moisturizing on its own. I find that it spreads over my face better (and need less) when I apply it to slightly damp skin. That is my normal behavior, but I had tried it on a fresh washed, but totally dry face. I definitely prefer it over a fresh washed, slightly damp (from washing, and/or after hydrating toner).Non irritating, and gentle. I have type 1 rosacea, so mostly just redness and visible veins. While nothing topically can help the veins, the surrounding redness can be alleviated some. This serum reduces my redness to a light, healthy flush. Bonus? soft, supple, hydrated skin. Sure, I can get that from other products, but I like and trust Osmostics. I dont rate on price, and I dont necessarily buy based on price. I go for what works well for my skin, and Osmotics is one of a handful of companies I trust my skin to. I have been using their Prime products for some time now. I am rather proud of how my skin looks.Overall, my skin feels good, looks good, and responds well to this serum. A little goes a long way. I tend to use it 1x a day, but it can be used morning and night. It pairs well with their copper containing products. Air tight pump bottle. Pump may take several priming pumps to get product to initially disperse. Then after that, product dispenses each time with ease. DONT NEED MUCH!Ingredients: Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Methyl Gluceth-20, Glycerin, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Squalane, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Carbomer, Diazolidinyl Urea, Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyroyl Hydroxythreonine, Tetradecyl Aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric Urea Trifluoroacetate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Teprenone, Magnesium Chloride, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Ergothioneine, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Tromethamine, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ubiquinone, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalciferol, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Mica, Titanium Dioxide

Premium Moisturizer for Discerning Skin
This is my first experience with Osmotics Cosmeceuticals, a company seemingly on the premium end of skincare products including with this product - Renovage Cellular Longevity Serum. The product arrived nicely packed in a 1.7 ounce container and is noted as offering "serious anti-aging technology" for all skin types. This includes the visible reduction of fine lines, redness, and pore size along with diminishing the appearance of sun/age spots. The bottle has a pump action going on, however, I had quite a few issues initially. It took over 50 pumps - I stopped counting at 50 - and I had to turn the bottle upside down to finally get it to dispense. For a premium product, that's a major deficit. However, I will say that once it began dispensing it has continued to do so without any further problems. It does dispense a small amount, though the lotion-type moisturizer layers on quite nicely and feels quite soothing on the skin. There's really no scent here and my sensitive skin has had no issues with the product at all.The directions indicate you can use this in the morning and evening. You smooth it on the face and neck areas. The directions also recommend the full Osmotics skin care regimen.I tend to have realistic expectations with these types of products, though there's no denying that some of them do work quite nicely when used in partnership with a full skincare and wellness regimen. I haven't de-aged, but my lines are smoother and normally red areas are blending in more completely. This is the type of product I probably should have started using earlier in life, but I still see definite benefits to it now as it makes my skin look healthier and more vibrant. This will likely be a product I'll continue until the bottle is finished then I'll see where my skin is really at and make some decisions about continued use. I'm not sure I see it as a product I'll use daily - I'm simply not seeing enough improvement to justify that type of use. However, as part of my ongoing wellness routine it likely has a place. I will be monitoring the container itself to make sure it continues to dispense as at this price point functionality should be a given.Overall, this seems like a quality product for those who take skin care seriously and who prefer more premium skincare products.

Creamy Serum Helps My Dry Skin, Fragrance Free-No A.M. Use For Me Due To Retinyl Palmitate, Has TEA
Osmotics Renovage Cellular Longevity Serum (1.7 oz) is a white serum that’s fragrance free and feels like a lightweight cream. It smooths on evenly and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue. I follow with my face cream. This serum feels pleasing to my dry skin as it feels like it boosts hydration, has a smoothing effect on my fine lines, firms my skin and makes my skin feel soft. My skin feels calm and isn’t irritated by this serum. This serum has Retinyl Palmitate, so I only use this in the evening even though directions say it’s for a.m. and p.m. use. Retinyl Palmitate has proven benefits, but I avoid it during the day as my dermatologist has warned against daytime use. Also, EWG rates Retinyl Palmitate “9” as being high risk to health, which I assume is based on studies of the negative effects of sun exposure and retinol products. Also, I’m careful to apply sunblock the day after using this serum. While it has titanium dioxide, no SPF rating is noted and the % of titanium dioxide isn’t listed. So I don’t count on it for sun protection. This serum has Triethanolamine (TEA). I don’t avoid all chemicals in skincare, but I dislike TEA. While it’s recognized as safe, I understand it can combine with other ingredients to form nitrosamines that are linked to cancer. I have no way to assess if the presence of TEA results in nitrosamine formation in particular products, so I avoid regular use of products that have TEA. This has TEA rather high on the ingredient list, so it isn’t a serum I’d personally choose to use every night. But I do like how it feels and it seems to benefit my dry, mature skin. So I do like it. 4 Stars.
