Great for burs
Really notice a difference in edges. Makes tuning more fun as well.

Not worth spending less for edge tuning/files.
Like others have stated, something must not have been manufactured correctly with these files. The actual surface is good, but after only a little bit of use it starts to fade away, showing plastic.Probably can't get a refund since i've used them already, will probably end up buying SWIX Diamond Stones when I have the money.

Good stones
I have used them on several skis now and have worked well. No complaints, gives a great edge.

Great product, works great, reasonable price.
Works great on skis. Exceptional to find a full set of grits in one package at a very reasonable price.

Utter garbage; save your time, effort, and skis, and look elsewhere
The grit on these files is poor quality and inconsistently sized and poorly adhered leading to tears and gouges. The backing is slightly concave which means that when you file your super-sidecut skis only the edges of the files are touching the ski which means the grit quickly wears down to the backing which wipes the edge and puts a huge lovely burr on it. Lapping fluid disolved the glue holding the abrasive plate to the backing material. It's impossible to put a good edge on a modern ski w these files. I'm going to save my pennies for moonflex or swiss diamond or some other non-crappy file set. You get what you pay for but these are worse than useless since they will easily grind off your whole edge while you wonder why you can't get it sharp.

Great for tuning race skis

Look elsewhere
May be ok for light damage but does not hold up. Images taken after using stones to service two pairs of skis (8 edges).

works well!
they work!being new to the edge-tuning stuff, I wish the grit rating was marked on the back of the files. I used a permanent marker and wrote them myself.
