Body, Mind & Soul Vol. 2 Soul Of Healing: The Mystery and Magic [DVD]

It was informative, entertaining, and easy to understand. He takes issues I have been trying to grasp for a while now and explains them in a way that makes them related and therefore easily understood. This is a lecture in case you weren't aware. The bonus CD is enjoyable for meditation or just as ambiance.

I bought this for a friend who was just diagnosed with cancer. her counselor recommended it. It was such poor quality we could not hear it well and the picture wasn't good. very disappointed. I will look at the first one perhaps.

This DVD is for those who are ready to enter the highest level of spiritual understanding. Deepak Chophra presents this valuable knowledge in the language of science and logic. I place him as one of the most profound spiritual leaders of our time, including Eckhart Tolle, the Dalai Lama and Wayne Dyer.

I have watched this several times and love it. I share it with my friends and loved ones. A must see video!

Few key jems here!!!

This is one of those DVD's that for some reason will not play on many DVD players. It completely failed to load on my Sony, Loaded and then continually stalled on my Dell XPS laptop and finally played on cheap Phillips player. I suspect that the main problem is the intro which combines an ad for a childrens group with a kind of slide show of his other work. I will comment further on this item after I have had a chance to listen to the CD. For now please keep your reciept handy if you get this DVD. Mine could be defective but I have had this problem with other DVD's and normally it affects all of them.Here is more. This DVD/CD is not really new work. The DVD is a good lecture by Deepak on quantum medicine that stresses the basic mind body connection. If you have read his work on this topic you won't learn anything new here but it is a nice concise review of his ideas about medicine. He looks much younger in this film and It was obviously done a few years ago at his California institute. The CD is also not new. It is a compilation from many of his guided meditations accompanied by music. This is NOT something that Deepak has ever done well. He is a great speaker who injects a lot of humor and warmth into his work, but doing a voice over with music in the background just doesn't work. Some of his meditations even appear on ITUNES on a playlist called "The worst of New Age". Deepak needs to hire a professional to do the voice for his meditations, and stick to speaking which he does well. I don't think I'll listen to the CD again. All in all this product is a better buy for someone who doesn't own anything by him on DVD. I would also suggest it to someome who is ill and wants to support their healing. It is inspirational...if you can get it to play.

Not worth it, Read his more Recent Books.This DVD goes back to 1995. I find Deepak's recent Books much more enlightening and interesting even though they talk about the same thing about healing and 'quantum' ideas. Read his more recent book 'Reinventing the body, Resurrecting the soul,' it explains his ideas in a much more practical way. Or Buy his CD on the 'The Secret of Healing,' a much more recent work by Deepak.Don't buy this DVD.

More of the same enlightening, informative, educational material, from Deepak Chopra, the like of which, always helps me on my inner journey and re-focuses me into Truth.
