I needed a low tech sign with a high tech look for daily specials. This absolutely fits the bill. The aluminum frame & shiny black board look great. Everything else on the market was "distressed wood" or cheap plastic. This is very sturdy but still light enough to move in & out everyday. Just a light mist of Windex & the board gets shiny clean. No staining even with super cheap chalk markers. I bought a used one for a steal; it was more heavily damaged than the description implied but I'm still happy.

This is a very heavy, high quality dry erase liquid chalkboard. These are the boards you see outside coffee shops and restaurants advertising daily specials, etc.It comes in a thin box already assembled. Both sides are the same surface - all black, easy to write on. You'll only want to use fluorescent liquid chalk markers (two white ones are included). Dry erase markers can be used, but are harder to see and wipe off too easily. Chalk markers come off with a wet paper towel and leave no ghosting. I'd recommend these:  LINKYO Liquid Chalk Markers Pens with Erasable Ink and Reversible Tips 10-Color All in all, this is great for those that can use these. You can use them in the home to encourage creativity with children, but buying a cheap white dry erase easel is far less expensive.
