Gol Mol Bol (Hindi Edition) with Music- Hindi nursery rhymes Hardcover – October 15, 2016

This is the first Hindi book I have read to my kids..I thought introducing the language to them through nursery rhymes they've heard from grandparents would introduce some level of familiarity- and I was right! They both love this book:) I liked the attention to detail- the bird playing the narrator role, the connection between one rhyme with a "thief" to the next one with the thief in jail- these are all little details that enhance the reading experience. I tend to pay a lot of attention to the illustrations in kids books as toddlers tend to absorb visuals before they learn to read- In this book the illustrations present a little "backstory" behind each of the rhymes , so you can engage the kids with the story even as you introduce the words in a new language. All in all, this was money well spent:)

Awesome collection for kids and so refreshing for us as parents. We grew up with these rhymes passed on from generations, but never saw them on paper. This is an excellent idea esp. with English transliteration. My kids love the illustrations and have gone back to it again and again since it arrived. Great work, "looking forward to more before my kids grow out of rhymes 😃

All the old rhymes that we sang as children.. chanda mama etc. You will love singing them to your children

Wow, this book is amazing! Very durable and lovely illustrations. Written in Devanagari and in Roman script so it's accessible for all. It comes with a link to a free download of the music and the music is so fun! We have been known to dance to it at our house. What a lovely fresh re-imagining of some old Hindi rhymes. :)

Written in Hindi alphabet and English alphabet. This is excellent! Fun rhymes to teach my kid. Love the pop up page in the middle. Looking for more like this!

My daughter loves this book, and now knows all of the rhymes and the music it comes with is great. She sings along when I play the music and read the book.

This book is awesome! My husband, the Hindi speaker in our family, loves reading it to our son. The illustrations are cute and it’s cool that there’s an accompanying web page with music. We’ll use this book for a long time.

Awsome hindi book..... I generally dont give reviews but this time I could not resist .I downloaded the songs too and I my son loves it.I have been singing thr same songs since he was born but now with the pictures and free downloadable songs he just simply loves them

The book has curated a good set of old nursery rhymes...and nostalgia is the only selling point. The quality of the book, printing and finishing is very average for the price. The illustrations didn't impress my toddler. The link to rhymes is a good addition but overall I expected better.

My baby loves the sounds of this book. The pictures are colorful and keep him engaged. Though I couldn't get the music they have mentioned, but no harm as we know almost all the poems in it. Good buy a bit expensive though!

Amazing read. A must for all growing children. Loved the rhymes and it not just fun for your little one but also takes you back to the childhood days. Thanks Pridhee.
