Love it!
Fabulous microwave! It is a compact size and although I have to cook food a bit longer as it’s only a 700 watt, I have found it performs very well. I love the fact there is no turntable and the whole thing looks sleek and stylish. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.

Flatbed technology= winner
After years of rusting turntable microwaves which are a pain to clean, we decided to take the plunge on this. What a difference!Removing the turntable gives a very useful boost in interior space, meaning no more packets of microwave rice toppling over due to lack of headroom! It also means you can clean underneath the microwave a bit easier as there's no bulge underneath (which would usually house the turntable mechanism). Here's a few things I've noted since we've had it to help others looking to make the change to flatbed technology;* Super easy to clean. A quick wipe out with a piece of kitchen towel has the interior looking good as new* The interior does build up some steam and condensation like turntable microwaves, so we make a habit of leaving the door ajar after cooking to let the interior dry out a bit* Noise level is the same as a turntable microwave. I've read reviews of some other flatbed microwaves saying they're quite noisy. This is absolutely fine* Super easy to use. Set the rotary control to microwave and then just press the start button repeatedly until you reach the required cooking time* When reheating food, this is far better at heating the whole dish - no more cold spots! And for balance a few quirks we've found;* Interior light is okay but it really should use a better bulb..the one fitted is a nasty looking orange one which doesn't exactly make it easy to see through the door* Sometimes the beep function doesn't work properly (e.g..when pressing the start/stop buttons. A quick turn off and back on at the plug easily sorts itAside from the above, this is a great product and an affordable option if you're looking to try out a flatbed microwave for the first time. It's not exactly the prettiest thing and it would be nice to see it in a lighter colour to help it blend in better with other kitchen appliances. But I'm splitting hairs here. It does exactly what it says on the tin, has far more space for cooking, easy to clean and well priced.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 👍

Perfect for small families
Got this because I was sick to death of the turntable microwaves that always rust up, no matter how much you clean it up after every use. This is only a 700w microwave so takes that little bit longer to heat things up, but its not a deal breaker. Once you get used to the settings its easy to use, easy to clean and takes larger casserole dishes that would catch on the sides in a turntable one. The outside is shiny and easy to clean too. The dials are easy to use, and apart from it only being a 700 watt, the other downside is the handle. My previous microwave had a button that opened the door, this one you have to pull on the handle. I have the microwave on a shelf and worry that I will pull it off the shelf trying to open the door. Otherwise its a really good little microwave.

Works fine, simple to use.
It beeps 5 times when it finishes and you can't stop the beeping once it starts. If I'd known this it would have been a deal breaker. The microwave otherwise works fine. Nice even cooking.

I'm impressed
Sadly I eat ready meals quite a lot so I can accurately compare the performance of this microwave with one of comparable power that has a rotating table. This one has proven so good that it has knocked at least 20% off the cooking times without detrimental affect to the consistency of heating the food. In fact.... the consistency has improved. It still tends to heat food at the edges of the container more than the middle but all microwaves seem to do that. Taking the reasonable price into consideration I'm very pleased with my buy and confident I made the right decision. ....... and it really is nice not to have that fiddly rotating plate. It is much easier to clean and I never had to fiddle about with the plate holder that got out of place all too often. Well done Russell Hobbs.
