First Aid Only 4" X 4" Water Jel Burn Dressing, Sterile (Pack of 3)

I have purchased the Water-Jel product in the bottle and in the individual packs, and they work great for minor burns and sunburns. Purchased the Water-Jel Burn Dressings three years ago and last week had the first opportunity to use them. Accidentally touched the hot end of a heat gun and immediately knew it was going to be a good burn. Initially tried letting it sit under cold running water, then a cold compress with a blue ice pack from the freezer, but it still burned. Remembered the burn dressing from the first aid kit. After wrapping the dressing with some stretchy bandage it helped ease the burn, especially as the gel evaporated. Reapplied the extra gel a couple times throughout the day as the dressing dried out. The next day I had some blisters, but the pain and burn was gone, and everything is healing great. Though I should write this review since I was back on Amazon restocking my kit.

Someone I work with decided they wanted to catch their pants on fire and scald their leg. I have known of this product for years and used it a time or 2 myself...... I did not have a red mark or burn the next day as I apparently got to it soon enough. I purchased this pack for them just in case they were to try to lift their pants on fire again.

WaterJel has become my go-to treatment for minor burns. It has found a place in my kitchen, my workshop, and in all of my first aid kits. A contact burn from a hot pan in the kitchen, a curling iron in the bathroom, a soldering gun in the shop...they are all preventable but somehow we still get them. Given that, gently rub on some WaterJel and pain is diminished almost immediately. Moreover, a burn that normally would have blistered now likely will not (the skin on the burn site may toughen a bit, like a burn which has already begun healing). Make no mistake, this is for minor burns only, not 2nd or certainly not 3rd degree, but this is comforting to have around when the inevitable occurs.

I dropped a freshly made hot cup of tea on my legs while seated at my desk at work. I was fortunate to have these dressings available and almost immediately put one on. What almost certainly would have been a first/second degree burn was instead much more mild and not nearly as painful. I immediately bought a set to have in my emergency kit at home so that if there were accidents I would be ready to go. I highly recommend these.

Our daughter is a military nurse and it was there that she ran across this product and saw that it was amazing. It removes pain but also reduces damage from burns. We started trying to find the civilian version and here it is. Soon after we got it out young grandson burned his hand and was quite upset about it. This product nearly instantly stopped the pain and soothed him. By the next morning he was fine, even without the dressing in place. The burn was small and there’s no sign that he was ever burned.

As described. I have never used 1 yet and hope not to I have a very well stocked burn kit
