This product does what it says, but it works best on long thinner hair. If you have thick hair it does not hold well.

I have used Hairagami bun tools for years, but they are flimsy and break easily so I thought I would try the Bun Bandz because they seemed sturdier. They are sturdier and higher quality, but the do not work for my hair which is long enough to sit on. By photo and video, they seem to work great if your hair is just past the shoulder, but if your hair is longer like mine, skip these. I guess I will go back to the flimsier product that actually works.EDIT - Upgraded to 3 star because they work exactly as advertised for my daughter's much shorter (just past her shoulders) hair. So like I said, not for extra long hair like mine, but works for medium long hair.

Must have very long hair with no layers for these to work. They do work that’s just the requirement.

I have slippery, fine hair and I’m generally terrible at styling my hair in a bun, but this really works. I watched the short instruction video and did it on my second try. I’d definitely recommend.
