Exactly as described
They're Noctua Fans. Not much else to say here. That being said, buying on Amazon is always a bit precarious. But the fans I received were brand new and in the original, sealed packaging, with no evidence of use or wear. Installed them and they worked perfectly right out of the box. Very happy with these fans, and I'm planning on buying more.

moves a LOT of air and is very quiet!
I was using a cheaper fan for my PC's front intake. I was never happy with its performance. But this Noctua I just put in is incredible! I can feel the air being moving into it (never could with the old fan) so I know it's running at full speed. I also installed a magnetic dust filter, and can *still* feel the being sucked in. Definitely going to get another one for the top intake in my case! 100%! Best fan I've used so far!

Industrial Performance, Industrial Noise.
Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000, Heavy Duty Cooling Fan, 3-Pin, 2000 RPM (120mm, Black). I'm using this fan in a Cooler Master HAF case, replacing a failed AIO Liquid Cooler fan. It arrived in high quality packaging. The 3-pin power cable feels wrapped in sturdy material, and had plenty of length to reach the mother board connector. It comes with 4 case mounting screws. The material of the fan and fan shroud felt sturdy. I can tell from the feel that the mounting holes and corner brackets were designed to eliminate vibrations. Mounting it to radiator and case was easy. After my original fan fail, I used a temporary 1200 RPM case fan that could barely push air through the radiator. This Noctua fan has distinctly strong airflow through the radiator. In comparison to other 3-pin Noctua fans, this fan had the highest flow, but also the highest noise.I thought my system was already noisy, and thus another noise in the case wouldn't be noticed; I was wrong. The hum from this fan is impressive. The "industrial" in the product name is appropriate. Not sure how i feel about this new sound from my system, as it is distinct from all other fans in the system (". It is keeping the CPU cool through repeated stress tests (63C peak), so no complaints about its purpose. If I had to do it again, I would likely consider installing one of other Noctua product lines (in the NF-A series). As it stands now, this fan will outlive the 10 year old computer system, assuming I get used to this hum.

Great Drobo 5D3 Replacement Fan
Great Replacement Fan for Drobo 5D3. My Drobo was making an incredible amount of noise. Then it starting squeeling at times like the bearing was going out. This then led to the unit shutting down with a overheat warning. It was the fan failing. But even new, the Drobo was very noisy. Got this fan and its a dream come true. Has never been this quiet. Very easy to install, fits perfect, with same dimensions as the original. Only gotcha; the old connector from old fan is a two pin, the new, a three pin. Just cut off old plug (two pin) and solder to new fan. Leave third wire taped up and unattached. The two wires used are power and ground, the third is for a temp sensor to vary fan speed. Drobo doesn't have a temp sensor so not used.

If you're deciding between 2000 vs 3000, get the 3000
I was too conservative in choosing this fan for a high static pressure environment. While this fan does move more air than say, the A12x25 (which I tried first), it isn't enough to make a difference (60 vs 70 cfm). That's kind of ridiculous. The 3000 rpm version of this fan, while noisier, makes enough of a difference that in a restricted environment, you'll actually see a reduction in temperature.Don't be like me (and waste a bunch of time), buy 3 expensive fans - only to figure out that the last fan should have been the first purchase. If you're working within a high static pressure environment, say a SFF box, you will NOT notice the additional noise generated by the higher speed fan, unless you're in an extremely quiet environment. I was mislead by the YouTube videos of the various fans and their noise at speed.

Workhorse of a Fan
I just recently build a new PC with an ATX mid tower that came with 2 intake fans and no exhaust. My CPU has a 212 Evo with 1 fan over the heat exchanger. I figured I should probably have at least 1 exhaust fan so I researched and heard high praise from Noctua so I got this and installed it on the back of my case in-line with my CPU fan. The fan itself is pretty loud actually, but I use headphones so I don't care, but what really struck me was my CPU temps. Over the last several days I played Civ 5 and over 3 days without the fan my software said my CPU max temps were 50, 52, and 52C each day and after installing this fan my max temp got up to 38C. I would definitely buy this fan again. As a note, I bought this fan since it has a high output for 1 fan to help equal the 2 intake fans I have that are each rated for 40 CFM. In the end you typically want slightly more air coming in than going out to help create a slightly positive pressure in your air flow.

Excellent replacement fans
I bought these to replace some AC fans that had bad bearings. These fit perfectly, though were shorter than the originals so I had to make a shield.I hooked them up to a spare 12v DC power source and they worked perfectly. They move less air than the originals but the tradeoff is that they're so much quieter and produce much less vibration. All in all I will definitely order them again when I need more.

Excellent airflow, no vibration - yes, it can be loud
Okay, so I knew it could get loud going in; my previous front case fan was on its last legs and needed to be replaced. I wanted something built well that was going to last. Noise wasn't an issue (as long as it wasn't the grinding of bearings). I've got it plugged in and on the case's lowest fan setting, and it's all but unnoticeable. On the highest setting (of three), it's definitely there - it gets loud, and you will hear it. That's fine with me. Just bought two more to replace one other fan in the PC and to add one. Looking forward to re-using these in my next build.

Great bit of kit
I used these to ventilate an electronics locker. Move a good amount of air pretty quietly and efficiently.

Well worth the investment
A little loud; but no louder than the originals.Nor louder than expected at 2000 RPM.Case is ice cold. And thats a really good thing. ;)Exactly what the doctor ordered.Mind you the case is no more than 10' away from my head where i sleep. Its not crazy loud.In fact, what im trying to say is, if yur looking for a first class fan solution, these are first class.

Excellent air flow
Excellent air flow especially at max setting, however as expected noise level is fairly high at max but still within reason.

cooling but low noise
Better cooling than most stock case fans
