Replacement Glass Milk Bottle Lids 48 mm Caps for Libbey and Stan-Pac(6, Red)

I re-use glass milk bottles for everything...water, lemonade, store bought half & half gets transferred into them. A friend of mine recently told me that she uses them for her homemade salad dressing (love it!). Things are just colder (and look better in the fridge) in a glass bottle. However, with so much use, those caps do wear out over time. These fit perfect and look so much cuter than the standard white or brown that typically come with the bottles. I'm thinking of buying another set in blue!!

Not sure why these are listed as reusable...they're not! I snapped one on the bottle I intended it for, and the only way to easily get off is to pull the perforated tab strip which separates from the top. This is what contains the "lip" to keep it on the bottle! When that's gone, the lid no longer stays on the bottle...it just sits loosely on top! I did this with three of the lids to make sure I wasn't crazy. Waste of money.

You know those cute quart size milk bottles you can get organic milk in from Whole Foods and other health food stores? I always end up keeping the bottles because they are so useful for things like cold brew coffee or leftover smoothie or ice tea...But, eventually the lids they came with break and then what? Buy these and you are set!

I purchased 6 of these lids in Purple. They fit snugly on my glass Libbey milk jars exactly as described. They have a very tiny tab that the original white lids did not have, and this makes it easier to remove the lid. They do have a removable strip at the base that you throw away...I'm not sure what purpose that is for, but it makes no difference in the permanent use of these lids for my Libbey milk jars.

Item arrived on time, but would not fit my bottles, so I had to return them....I assume I need a smaller size, so these will not fit all bottles.Measure before you buy.No problem at all with the seller.

Fit great on the glass milk bottles that iv lost their caps.

Exactly what I expected, pleased with quality. I ordered the incorrect color, my bad, but I will keep the caps sent. Will reorder for Christmas giftssoon.
