Hampton ForgeDoric Black Enamel & Copper Pvd18/10 5 Piece Set, 0.80 LB, Multi

My style is transitional but too much of what I have is traditional so I’ve been adding in more contemporary pieces and these are perfect. My kitchen granite countertops are Baltic brown and so copper looks so pretty with it! But I painted the cabinets a marshmallow color and charcoal and this set just looks so amazing I ordered 9 more sets! I’m so excited to ditch an old dimpled stainless pattern I hated. These seem to be very high quality so if you’re lucky to find them on sale, order as many places settings as you can! Just so elegant. They seem to hold up in the dishwasher so far.I do wish there were a black and gold option. They come in white and gold but I wish those were white and silver. I might order more of the white as well since my barstools and kitchenette chairs are white…

Hampton Forge Doric Black Enamel & Copper Pvd18/10 5 Piece Set, 0.80 LB, Multi- I was so excited to get this set, which I initially thought was a 20-piece place setting, but soon realized it's just a five-piece place setting. Anyway, I received it and was kind of disappointed. As you can see from the photo, the knife in the set just looks like regular silver to me. The copper finish is much lighter and less prominent on the knife. So, I guess quality control is lacking. The other pieces are lovely, however.

I have black dinnerware so this rose gold and black plate setting is gorgeous! Only one person setting but it’s just me anyway so I might as well look and feel fancy just for my own happiness. 🤩I’m hand washing these and don’t have any issues with water spots or metallic “taste”. Did I mention they look amazing?

The media could not be loaded.  Look at the video I posted it says it all… :( hard to show as the colors are hardly visible on camera but after about a month of use, hand wash only. They are all chipped all over. Beautiful prior that but now not so much :(.

These have a nice weight, feel and look to them, and they seem well made and durable. They are relatively expensive, however, considering this is only one place setting, and odds are you'll need more.

Whether I set the table for guests or just the two of us, the Hampton Forge Doric Black Enamel & Copper silverware set is practical and elegant. I wll definately use this beautiful set during dinner parties and for special events. The set is elegant and very attractive. It's the kind of thing that grabs your guests attention. The set is very well made and should last a lifetime. I am very pleased.

I knew I was only getting a set of 5, which is fine because its just me and keeps me on track with washing dishes. But I realized that I like the style of these because instead of having copper and black silverware, I can get them both on a single set. Now I have to order more if I want more of them and they aren’t cheap. Quality is great on these, they have some weight to them but aren’t too heavy to use.

edited 4-11-23: After 6 months the black enamel is now dissolving right off the copper from dishwashing, for the cost of this silverware I find this unacceptable. I have lowered from 4 to 1 star as this issue is quickly rendering these pieces unusable.-------------------------------------This Hampton Forge copper and black silverware set really stands out from the usual designs. I really like the slim look and feel of this set, it feels lightweight but not low quality. However I agree with another reviewer that the copper coloring is not even in tone between the 5 pieces, which for what this costs seems disappointing. I'm also not a fan of the obnoxious brand stamping on most of the pieces (right into the copper).I've dishwashed these a few times now, the color did not fade from what it started as and there has been no bending or scratching thus far.
