Worth Every Penny
As others have said, this kit will pay for itself the day you get it if you're anything like me who had a couple of watches sitting dead for want of batteries. Some watches are easy enough to service with tools you might already have on hand, but others would be near impossible to open with what you get in this kit.Whether it's the kind of watch where the back is tightly threaded on (most underwater watches are like this), or the back pops off but is impossible to snap back in, this kit makes everything very straight forward. The "instructions" are of little use however, so if you haven't already done some of this, go to YouTube for some tips about how watches can be serviced.Personally, the one aspect I REALLY wish was included would be some sort of case or box to keep all the pieces organized. I'd certainly pay more for a version that did. But anyway, though none of it is of the very best quality (you're not going to open a pro watch repair shop with this kit) it all WORKS. I replaced five watch batteries in very little time so if that's all I got out of it it'd be worth it. I have a few more to fix that my wife owns and see this as being handy for years to come.

Reasonable value, worked fine for me on pri-off back watches.
Normally I pop the backs off watches to change batteries using a small thin 2 blade pocket knife. But on 2 occassions I couldn't get the back off - both times were for watches my wife really liked and she ended up them and rebuying the same watches...both of which now needed batteries and I couldn't (safely anyway) pop the backs. So I ordered this kit.The watch vise allowed me to hold the watch safely and using the smallest of the pry tools I was able to pop the back. YES! Choosing a kit that included the press proved to be a good decision for me. In the past I always managed to pop the backs of watches back on when I got them off with the pocket knife but this time I couldn't get the back to snap on. The press did the trick. Some of the negative reviews mentioned missing parts. While I won't say thoser reviews are incorrect, I will note that the parts pamphlet is confusing/misleading. It appears to be a one pamphlet fits all. My kit didn't have all the parts described in the pamphlet but I didn't order the larger watch repair kit. However, I did get everything described in the product description that appears on the Amazon listing/order page. There are no instructions - there is a presumption if you are ordering it you are handy enough to know how to use it. Changing a watch battery isn't rocket science and this kit works for me. For 'home duty' it gets a thumbs up. I'm only giving it a 4 of 5 because the product box didn't hold up in shipping and contents had spiilled into the shipping envelope and I don't have a watch to try our the the 'twisty tool' back remover which based on some reviews I've read may the weakest link of the kit.

These work!
These do the job, and all that you'll ever need to change a watch battery, except perhaps some kind of a jeweler's loupe. I deducted a star because there is no manual. However, that's not really a problem. These are all illustrated on YouTube, and more instructive than a written manual anyway. Just type is the name of the tool when searching for a video. Package included:1* Watch Case Holder1* Watch Case Opener1* 3 in 1 Screwdriver4* Watch Back Pry Knife Opener1* Tweezer1* Watch Press & 12pcs Nylon DiesAll of the above are illustrated on YouTube. I've changed about a half dozen batteries so far, so this kit has paid for itself many times over. Anyone can do this!!! Do not insert the battery using the metal tweezers as you can short it out. Use the metal tweezers only for removing the battery. There are cheep plastic throwaway ones for that, and you can find them on Amazon.

So easy to use, anyone can do it. Will pay for itself in just two battery replacements
My wife's watch battery died. We were quoted $20 in the local mall to replace the battery- almost as expensive as replacing the watch! So I bought this kit and I have to say I'm very impressed with the build quality and especially with the ease of use. The last time we tried to change a battery in her watch without the right tools, we got so frustrated - we got the back off eventually but couldn't get it back on again. My wife eventually managed it by sandwiching the watch between a pile of books and slamming more books on them!Enter this tool, chose the right size of back flicker, the right dies for the front and back of the watch for the clamp. It literally took longer to get the Duracell battery out of its packaging than it did to open the back of the watch, replace the battery and snap the back into place again. So glad I bought this tool set.

This Kit Gets the Job Done
I just received the kit about 30 minutes ago and I have already changed batteries for three of my watches (2 Bulova, 1 Seiko). Two of them required the pry knife and watch press, while the last one needed the case opener. That was it. A watch professional at the mall charges me $20 per battery replacement, and those only last one year. This time, I bought well known brand batteries and this kit. I have already gotten my ROI.
