P.O.S. - Everything I read said this bracket would fit my old LS-400. Thought I had it made when I read it had a 1/4" screw. I walked out to garage, found a standard USA 1/4" 20 tpi screw & it threaded right into the back of the receiver. 5 days later receive bracket and right to garage I went. Turned that little black knob for 30 seconds before I realized it was the wrong thread size. Not even close to 1/4 x 20. After 20 minutes found out where they got the 1/4" measurement, it's the length out of the bracket. Ended up knocking the threaded insert out of the bracket and using my 1/4" x 20 screw to secure the receiver to the bracket. After another 20 minutes & going thru a number of taps & dies in my standard set found the screw to be a metric size, 6 X1 I believe.Purchased 2, will be returning 1 I didn't modify.

after researching this was supposed to fit my transit receiver. it did not but i took it apart and put it in the old clamp and it works half way but tightens! Its the wrong size thread and dimples.
