Love and friendship are stitched in time on Ormond Beach
Isabelle Wainwright is a divorced, mother of one teenaged daughter who is moving to Ormond Beach. Isabelle is very depressed that her husband Roger has left her for a man. She allows everyone including her daughter to assume that she has been abandoned for another woman. Isabelle has other abandonment issues as well. Her mother left when she was fifteen but recently has been trying to reconnect. Isabelle allows her daughter to communicate with her grandmother but wants nothing to do with her herself. When they reach Ormond Beach, they stay in a lovely place called Koi House which is haunted by a former inhabitant. As both Isabelle and Haley make friends and take on jobs their lives become richer and they are much happier. This book is part of a series of books that are intertwined. I think that each could be read as stand alone without the reader missing much. I like the cozy warmth of these books. The characters are likeable.

Book 2 in the Ormond Beach Series Well Worth The Wait
Once again Terri DuLong shares another adventure that will be your favorite read. I was saving this to read on my vacation but just couldn't wait. Needless to say I couldn't put it down once I read the first page. I have read The Cedar Key Series and both books in this series. I love how the characters come together from both series. This time we again meet Isabelle and her daughter Haley. We share Isabelle's adventure and new beginning along with Chloe's continued dream come true. Not only do you get to be a part of all the amazing women who come together knitting, you get the added exciting adventure of Koi House and it's long time resident. Terri's books are a Wonderful way to relax and enjoy that quiet time we crave and need in today's busy day to day routine. The only bad thing is waiting for the third book to become available, so have I preordered you ask, well of course.

Nobody talks like these characters!
This was a so-so book. My main complaints are that I felt like conversations were so stilted and blah. Nobody talks like these characters! I also didn’t like the spirit of a person being involved in the story. I got very tired of Isabelle’s anger with her mother. I considered not finishing the book but I did. Really very much a fairytale story and ending.

This is Terri`s second book in her Ormond Beach series and it is a great read. The people in the book makes you want to pack your bags and move there. You will love the characters in the book, they are so warm and care about each other. I can`t wait for the next book. I have read Terri`s books since the beginning and love each one. And I think each one gets better if that is possible. The knitting and patterns is a great plus. I know you would enjoy the series if you get it, it is a great read to take to the beach

I thoroughly enjoyed this book
In the interest of full disclosure, I live in Ormond Beach where this story is set. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were charming, realistic and relatable. The story heartwarming but not sappy or insipid. I've since read two more of the authors books . Kudos.

Shallow and insipid
I read all three of the books in this series (because I had purchased them all at the same time) and found them to be very shallow. I mean, who talks like that? No tension, no drama, and a really stilted style of prose. The description said these books would be in the vein of Debbie Macomber, but compared to this author, Debbie M is deep (which she is not). I will be skipping any more books from this author.

Stitches in Time
If you want a book where most of the characters are unbelievably friendly and sugary then this is the book for you. Not a bad read, but I found Chadwick to be overly perfect so almost unbelievable, plus the name was never ever shortened ! I read the first book which I enjoyed more and bought the three because I like series books because the characters often become dear to you. However after reading the second I’m not sure I’ll get to the third unless I have nothing else to read. The second was very much along the lines of the first. With a person moving to Ormond Beach, living in Koi House and meeting the man of their dreams. Isabelle had a drink problem which seemed to disappear very quickly when she met Chadwick and strangely had no problem having a couple glasses of wine and leaving it at that! She was mad with her mother all the time until her mother had an accident after which they had a most wonderful relationship (unrealistic again). The week her mother had the accident they were both supposed to be watching the shop but there was no mention about who went in to watch it.The book read a bit like a fairytale with someone making up an ideal (mostly) world. Book 3 will be Petra now moving in and probably pairing up with Chadwick’s best man. So unfortunately I did not care for the characters

A lovely read didn't want to put it down
This is the second book in the series. The characters are like old friends and I was sorry when the book ended. Can't wait for the next one n the series.
