I don't often give 5 stars, but this mask far exceeded my expectations in what I was looking for in a heated mask:1. Stays hot: I researched microwave eye masks for awhile and when you read the reviews or Q&A for many of them, even if people loved the mask, they all said it doesn't stay warm for more than 3-5 mins. This one stays heated for around 15 mins, which is exactly what my ophthalmologist says I need to get rid of these annoying eye styes -- and it's really working! I put it in the microwave for 42 seconds. It's too hot to put directly on my eye right away, so I put a couple a tissue between my eyes and the mas for about 8-10 mins, then as it starts to cool, I remove the tissue and it stays warm right up to 15 minutes. It's still warm even when the 15 mins are up.2. Price: Omg, so many that only last up to 5 mins are so ridiculously overpriced. This one is really phenomenally priced and I feel the value is so much higher than what I spent.3. Fragrance-Free: There are some in the market that have overpowering scents of lavender or other fragrances. I think that would irritate me (and my eyes) to no end! This product has no scent at all, which is perfect.4. Comfort: SO comfortable! And I absolutely LOVE the blue one I got -- looks great, even though no one will see me using it.I haven't used it cold, so can't comment on using it in that way, but will once my eye issues clear up. And my only really insignificant gripe might be the elastic bands are a bit cheapish and kind of small for my head, but they hold well and do what they're supposed to.Btw, I am in no way affiliated with this company that sells this product, but when I feel a product deserves it, I have to shout out.Believe me, if you're on the fence you won't be disappointed with this eye mask.

I bought this to reduce puffiness under my eyes mainly after crying. Unfortunately I've cried enough to know that if it's later in the day or at night, my eyes look horrible the next morning lol. I definitely notice a difference using this mask. I've tried others in the past where there are holes for the eyes but those never worked as there never seemed to be enough gel beads in the areas that I need them in the most-right under the eyes and on the sides. Since there are no eye openings on this mask, I can easily move the beads so that the areas I need are covered. I fall asleep in it every time so I dont know how long it stays cold as it's always room temperature by the time I wake up lol. What I also appreciate is the material that is used that goes against your eyes. It soft and keeps the sensitive areas under your eyes protected from the cold versus masks that I've used where you're placing freezing cold gel right on your skin. I havent tried heating it yet. Whether you're a crier or relaxer (or hybrid of the two lol) this mask should be soothing for you! If I'm brave enough I may do a before and after pic but in the meantime give it a try yourself- the price is reasonable!

Not the best product, but definitely does it’s job and I consider this worth it.I’ve been working a lot lately, about 20hrs a day for 4 days and a one 12hrs day. Total of 5 days... A lot of hrs..There are days that looks as if I had attended a fighting match and got my a... whooped...My eye lids feel heavy...purple bags underneath my eyes, or swollen purpler eyes..At that point is Plain simple... I’m sleepy...I put this product on a ziplock bag which goes inside the freezer and into my lunch bag which retains the cold and use during small breaks.It’s a bit uncomfortable, but when you are tired, this product will make You feel amazing and you will forget about its flaws and be grateful about it.Does it work? Yes it does, that little bit of rest that I get while using this product, it’s keeping me going.. I bought a much more expensive one, which does the same but doesn’t cool-down my eyes as much.When you’re tired, your face is burning and your eyes feel hot. This product is a solution for those situations, it’s not very comfortable And it has flaws but it will do it’s job.If you work long hours like me.. this is something you want to keep handy..

In the spring…summer, winter, and fall…I have allergies, and my eyes take a beating. They get bone dry (while somehow also pouring water non-stop), bloodshot, itchy, puffy, and all around miserable. Eye drops succeed in adding intense burning. Have you ever put a mixture of Drano and ground glass in your eyes? I haven’t either but I assume the feeling is very similar. And after all that torture, my eyes are the same if not worse than before the drops.My eye doctor suggested keeping a water bottle in the freezer and putting it on my eyes to soothe them. Works great except for having to hold an ice chunk. I found a mask I could freeze but when I would put it on, I was sure what little lubricant my eyes had would freeze into place. So I ended up putting a hand towel over my face then putting the mask on. I looked like Luke Skywalker wandering the ice planet Hoth but it worked. Then I misplaced my mask and my eyes mourned its loss.That brings me to this mask. I liked the idea of fabric built onto the mask to keep the frozen gel from giving my pupils frostbite. Genius! The mask itself is a little large for me but I’m small featured so few things fit my face perfectly. And I experience a bit of tightness around my nose but I can ease it by rearranging the elastic strip. All I really care about is that it soothes my miserable eyes. I can’t tell you a fig about the warm option but the cold mask is fantastic.
