12 mile range with clear LoS via Meshtastic
Using this on a stationary rooftop Meshtastic node and it's been working great. I would not recommend using the included length of cable, rather, just do a direct connection from the board to the antenna base via a pigtail. At ~900mhz you will lose a considerable amount if you use that long of a cable, just pitch it and be done with it.Using this on my base station, and a simple 2db SMA antenna on the client unit, we were able to make a 12 mile (tenuous) connection using Meshtastic. I verified we had positive line of sight ahead of time, so this would have been purely a function of antenna to antenna.I've installed two of these now, both on stationary Meshtastic base stations and I'm happy with the results. Would buy again...but seriously consider ditching the cable! The convenience factor is costing you on the performance side!

Really good antenna
This thing is crushing it with 35' of 400 cable and the price was great.

Le falta que le agreguen un cable más largo sin tanta perdida de señal
Sólo le falta que le agreguen un cable más largo, el que viene no tiene mucho alcance para tratarse de una antena para exteriores.

A real 915Mhz 4dbi antenna
I was looking for an antenna to boost the signal and reception for a 915Mhz LoRa radio project. This antenna is advertised as being +4dbi and that is what I see in the RSSI values of the messages I am receiving. It looks to be about +4db better than with an omnidirectional antenna. I attached the VSWR chart shown on my NanoVNA. The antenna has a VSWR of ~1.4 which is good performance. My one wish is that the manufacturers would mark the direction on the antenna. The "+4dbi" comes from making the antenna directional. With my limited test equipment, I end up rotating the antenna and looking at the RSSI values to figure out what direction the antenna is optimized for. My comment on the claim that it can be better than a +5.8 or +8dbi antenna is primarily because as the db boost comes from narrowing the antenna field to extend the range.

Works fantasticly
Hooked up to my sensecap m1 miner. Increased from 4 to 21 witnesses withing 2 days. Quadrupled my rewards.
