This wool roving was perfect for my hand made dreadlocks. Easy to work with and super soft. The package shipped fast as well. Perfect.

I'm pleased with this order. The wool pulls apart nicely for my felting projects.

The wool is clean and LONG. I purchased the natural color but their other colors are beautiful.

Strong perfume is used on the wool-- it doesn't smell like lanolin, but more like the pink soap you might be served in a public restroom dispenser. The smell transfers to fingers, other wool projects in the same craft basket, worn clothes, even the room kinda stinks after using it. I'll air out the skein for a few days and see if that helps. If you're sensitive to perfumes I don't recommend this item.The wool arrived in a single-use plastic bag that seemed like it had a reusable opening originally, but was so haphazardly taped all around the sides so it needed to be cut out of the package and resealed in a new Ziplock. Original packaging was not recyclable or 'eco-friendly.' Wool doesn't arrive in any cardboard box either, thats just a product prop in the first image.The wool roving itself is fine aside from the artificial stentch, it's decently soft and consistently colored with very few pieces of hay or darker fibers. Decent for the price point.

I ordered this for needle felting. It seemed like a good amount. The bag I received was well packaged and sealed, but the wool in my bag had more debris than what I’m comfortable with. It is extremely soft, and I’m not sure if that will make it difficult to felt with because of the soft texture. Other reviews have suggested it felts fine, and I’m hoping they’re right. If I find it easy to work with, I’ll probably reorder and overlook the debris since most large quantities of wool have some amount of unwanted material in them.

I'm new to spinning and don't want to spend alot of money on fiber while I am still learning. This fiber is very easy to work with and very good quality.

8 oz is a LOT of roving wool. so if you plan to do a lot of felting of small or medium size animals, this is a great wool to have. It felts easily for top layers. I haven't tried it for core felting. The color is just right for many animals. It also blends well with other colors.

I dodnt see the small print, this may say white, but it is actually ecru, a natural beige, undyed. I will use it, but not the colour i hoped for.

I am so pleased with this color,is is even better than I expected. It is a very dark chocolate.Perfect for the basket=nests I am making.Thanks again!

If you are wet felting, know this wool is NOT merino,so it will not make a soft ,next to the skin garment well.It is somewhat like corriedale wool, about 28 microns. Too scratchy for scarves, for example.I was pleased that it wet felted well,and is great for slippers, I use it for felting botanical sculpture,and the natural color (Mocha) was very realistic. I will buy again.
