It works, and I'll use it. But I was wanting more of a diffused light for low light typing. This lights up about half of the keyboard very well and not very well on the other half. Not bad for the price, but not perfect.

8-8 update:I still love this and it still works great!I reduced it by one star though because when I use it for a long time it gets hot.Not enough to not use it ... but enough that it's a little alarming that the LED generates that much heat.I love my USB LED light!This has come in so handy at night for typing on my laptop when I have the lights off.Before this, I had to keep my kitchen light on to type on my laptop in the living room.It's a nice size and fits into the pocket of my laptop sleeve perfectly.Because of it's size it doesn't light up the keyboard evenly, since it's on one side, but it's not an issue.The small size is nice because it keeps it out of the way.When I first got it, I wished it was longer so I could put it more evenly over the keyboard, but now I'm glad it's just like it is.If it was longer, it would obstruct the screen and be in the way if I had it over the middle of the keyboard.I did receive this at a discount, but it in no way changes my review of the product.

The Mini Adjust Angle Portable Flexible USB LED lamp light is quick and easy to use. Pull it out of the box and plug it into the USB port on your computer and you are good to go. The arm of the light is very flexible and very easy to move around to suit your needs. I use my computer at night and it does not have an illuminated keyboard and I don't want to keep a bedroom light on to see my keyboard. I wish the arm of this light was a bit longer so that I could more evenly spread the light out on the keyboard. Outside of that this is a great little light. One solution to balance the light out is if you have a USB port on both sides of your computer, you could get two to balance the light out across the keyboard. I was provided this light at a discount for a fair and unbiased review. My review is based solely on my personal use of this product. I try to provide a fair assessment based on my personal use as others will read this review.

It works great and I love the light it puts out. I bought this knowing that it is small and I had no expectations of it lighting up a whole room. I just wanted to be able to see my keyboard at night without having to have a room light on and disturb my kids who are sleeping in the same room . This product does the trick. I have not had to use the room light to see my keyboard at night since I've been using this. It is not a whole lot of light. It is a small beam of bright light that is able to be bent over my laptop computer keyboard and I LOVE IT. I would recommend this little light to family and friends !! This is a very nice portable light. It works very well, especially if you have a laptop computer without a backlit keyboard. I bought it to put in my go kit, along with my USB battery pack. LED lights are very bright and consume very little power. It is pretty flexible and lets you angle it to just about any degree on the x axis. It bends up to about 30 degrees on the y axis, so you can bend it a little from side to side. I have been using it for about an hour and it is only slightly warm to the touch.I could also see this being used as a nightlight when plugged directly into a USB wall wart. Or, it could be used as a reading light on the bedside...Very pleased with my purchase.I did receive this product at a discount for a fair and honest review.
