I really don’t smell any fish oil at all. Like maybe the faintest scent. My super picky Chihuahua even eats it in whip cream. And he hates fish! Among a multitude of other things 🙄 Definitely didn’t think he was going to eat it but he did! If you figure out the dosing with a little help from ChatGPT, it’s worth it to get the bigger bottle. The tiny one is such a rip off in comparison of how much you get. But just be careful because the 8 and 16 ounce bottles are higher potency than the small breed bottle. I’m using it for two small dogs, a Chihuahua and Pomeranian. 1.5 ML for my Pomeranian because he has some itchy years/itchy skin issues. 1.25 for my Chihuahua, he’s pretty much fine except for the occasional itchy ear. for reference, my dogs are 10 and 11 pounds. This is the only fish oil my ORAGINC FILLER AND SYNTHETIC FREE trusted vitamin brand “ The pet health and nutrition center” recommend. Side bar-You should definitely check out their website because their vitamins are so much better than anything else on the market, organic, filler, additive, and artificial ingredient free, and include glandulars/probiotics/liver detox. And they’re incredibly affordable! I’ve seen a night and day difference with giving them their vitamins and their colostrum, along with this fish oil supplement. Great Skin/coat, improved mood and agility, healthier stools, more energy, better breath, stopped paw licking etc. We only get our babies for a short time, but we are their whole world. They deserve the best! May your sweet fur baby live a long and healthy fulfilled life.

Great customer service! Orders always arrive quickly. My 6-year-old chocolate lab gets a teaspoon everyday with his breakfast along with his probiotics. I can't honestly say I've seen any results but this stuff is for the long haul. I give it to him now so that his bones and joints will be good in the future. People saying they've seen results after only giving a month or two are lying. Since it's all small fish there are very minimal amounts of metals.

Our small dog struggles with dry skin seasonally, and this makes his coat shine and helps his longevity, as well as joints! He loves the taste and smell, and the quality is elite! Skin irritation is no more!

Our older cat has dry skin flakes on his back. I brush him regularly and use a product by Burt's Bees that's helpful, but recently he's had more flakes. I purchased the Nordic Naturals 2 ounce Omega-3 Pet here after doing some research. Before purchasing I called the company to ask a few questions, and I also looked at all of the information on this listing and read a bunch of reviews. But I missed the small print on the box that said "refrigerate after opening." My bad, of course, but if the words were more prominent upon taking the bottle out of the box, I would have appreciated it and no one would miss this important information. It's been out ten days in an air-conditioned environment. My cat does not like the taste/texture of the product, but I poured it on his treats and until today he ate it up, although he avoided the oil that was left in his bowl. As I was trying to think of other ways to get him to take the Omega-3, I looked at the bottle again, and it was only then that I saw that it should be refrigerated 😕 I called the company to ask if it might have gone bad, and they told me to check for a strong smell and cloudiness. I do not notice either, but I don't want to chance it. Oh well.

The product is wonderful. My cat’s fur has never looked so healthy. However the last bottle i received did not have the eye dropper attached to the lid making it a lot more cumbersome to use.

My cat loves this fish oil. I put a couple of drops in his food twice a day. His fur is extra fluffy and he his general well being is even better than before. I was hoping this would help with his heart murmur too!

I've been giving this fish oil to my 13 lbs dog for several years now after my vet recommended starting him on fish oil, and this looked affordable. I normally buy one of the larger bottles; it's the same fish oil but just in a larger quantity. Be aware that 8oz and up bottles DO NOT come with their own dropper, so I bought a cheap pack of plastic droppers to use and that's always worked perfectly.When my dog first started on this, he threw up each time. I switched to only giving him a few drops on top of his kibble every other day, and he seemed to build up tolerance pretty quickly. I increased the amount every week or two until I could give him the recommended quantity, and he has never had issues with it since. He is now 12 years old and has been taking fish oil for 2-3 years, and the vet thinks it has made a difference for him. The only other special thing I give him is Zuke's hip treats, to help with his hip health.I will say that my dog did not originally like this fish oil even though it says it is unflavoured and he refused to eat it, either directly or on kibble. My solution to that was to add one or two small treats that he loves to his kibble and drip the fish oil directly onto the treats. I use freeze-dried chicken or freeze-dried beef liver treats for him, but I'm sure anything would work. These days he will normally just eat the kibble itself with fish oil directly on it, but if he starts being picky I just add a few treats and that still does the trick.

I love the brand and love the product but I missed the small print that said to refrigerate after opening, on both the big bottle I bought for my dog and the small bottle for my cats. I was trying to figure out why my dog all the sudden was getting loose stool and why the cats wouldn't eat their meals that got the oil on top. The oils went bad really quickly because I got them 10 days ago. I wish the "Refrigerate after opening" was placed more prominently on the product.
