This is exactly as they describe it. I am going for a rural look, or barn look in my bath, but I did not want the expense of a seat made from actual barnwood. This was a good compromise. I have some "sprinklers" in my household, and this seat cleans up beautifully. There is no problem with daily cleaning with strong cleansers, and it is also very smooth and comfortable to read the morning paper. The only negative is the pressed wood is not of the best quality and will most likely be where the seat breaks, eventually. But at this cost I will buy another.

Love the color. This was exactly what we were looking for. A wooden toilet seat, but in gray to match the powder room decor which is all gray and black. We love a wooden seat, but the traditional oak colors looked out of place with the gray and black motif. Really love the soft close!

This is a very good quality seat. It seems very sturdy and the wood finish is really nice. It seems to have a soft close for now. I know over time they can loosen up so I'll have to give it some use and see if that happens. Overall this is a very good quality seat cover.

It is what it is, toilet seat wise. I replaced one that was too small. Seemed ugly at first, but now I like the color which seems to blend in more all the time.
