Ready to Paint in 30 Minutes: Animals in Watercolo: Build your skills with quick & easy painting proje

This is one of Matthew Palmers best books to date. It’s not for the absolute beginner but instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I was amazed to see how many different animals are available to paint, cats, birds, elephants and even a rabbit, all coming with their own tracings. My favourite is the Snow Leopard which I cant wait to tackle. A brilliant book on watercolour.

I was hoping for a book to refine my painting skills . This book has tracings for those who find sketching tricky. probably excellent for those who are beginning or want step by step guidance. i wanted a book to help me get liveliness and expression into my animal painting so not for me.

A beautifully presented book with a wide range of animal projects.Matthew shares his expertise so that the reader can understand easily.The projects vary from quite simple to more detailed and Matthew gives suggestions for adaptations.The instructions are clear and easy to follow, for those starting out on their watercolour journey, those new to painting animals or anyone just needing a bit of a refresher or motivation.I great book to dip into, or work through from start to finish!

Was extremely looking forward to this book but it’s far from his best book. Various of the pictures look odd and there very basic and small although the tracing sheets are a fantastic idea as normal. I think landscapes are more Matthews expertise.
