If your curious about Sous Vide cooking....
The best basic Sous Vide circulator for the money without all the distracting bells, whistles, and hence the expense of the other competitors. Very satisfied with the purchase as it allows me to prioritize spending $$ on the foods/meats that I want to cook with the SV method. Cheapest way to get into SV cooking and getting into its flavor enhancements/benefits if you're curious without risking the expense on equipment.

Works great. Have made several meals with it. Mmmmmmm. The downside is that the instruction manual needs more information. Additionally, there should at least be a link to some cooking charts. Ive used apps by other sous vide’s to get that information. The price and lifetime guarantee make it all worth it.

Highly recommended device!My new and most favorite kitchen tool. This cooking method fascinated me for a long time but I was a little afraid to try it.. finally I decided to give it a try and ordered this beautiful device by CookTeck. I must say it is sooo easy to use! the manual is great and the results are unbelievable. I cooked the best steak ever!!!

I am having the problem that using the temperature on the recipe. Instead of medium rare it is getting well done. I am waiting for a thermometer to verify the temperature.

Easy to Set
Just tried the sous vide once with steaks for the holiday. Got rave reviews on the steak. It was very tender, juicy, and flavorable. Purchased the The Essential Sous Vide Cookbook which gives temp & time for a variety of meat, seafood, veg, & desserts. Hate to give review after one use, but the seller & Amazon are pushy about reviews. The machine is easy to set and the clip which attaches to pot is very sturdy. Would recommend.

Does not work. Set temp to 129 degrees and after 2.5 hours my steak was still under 120 degrees.

A cooking breakthrough
I'm now a believer. I cooked a piece of $2.99 chuck roast the size of a steak, in a 2 gallon $4.00 plastic pail, in a cheap Ziploc bag, for a 24 hour period that included a power outage that turned off the unit for 7 hours, so the temperature dropped from 131 degrees to 95, until I reset it. Then I seared the chuck on the grill for 2 minutes total. The good part of the chuck was comparable, or better than the best tenderloin I've had in a restaurant. This was juicier, and just as tender. No part of it was dry, except the thin part seared, and that was the very thinnest layer. My wife became a believer on the spot. The instructions were minimal, but the controls: temperature and time, both adjusted with a thumbwheel, were easy to master. I bought this as a used or damaged unit, but other than a dent in the box, seemed fine. I used a sealer clip that was longer than the pail was wide, so it kept the bag high and dry. The heating unit can be rotated easily, so the outflow keeps the bag away from the heater. I have great expectations!I've used it quite a bit, and am still excited about this cooking tool. Yesterday I again used it for a chuck roast and carrots, and they both were done to perfection. No complaints. Operating it is simple: 3 protected places to push, on/off, temp, and time, and a thumb wheel to adjust them. Use the same to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The controls on all models look similar, so they All may come from the same factory, just different asking prices.
