Beware before buying, this led technology is from 2016 and is priced along the same lines as updated full spectrum LEDs. No clear spectrum/light spread/accurate micromole information is provided, overall this light is just not the current industry standard. Mine came opened too. The hangers are fixed to the unit and are not ajustable by themselves, which is a design flaw especially in horticultural application.

Hanging clips are a bit difficult to install, but no complaints otherwise. Great for clones and keeping small mothers in slow growth.

I use them for microgreens. Work great. A little pricey, but the plants are happy. You can catch them on a good sale sometimes.

Bought 2 led, sent 2 T5 and both bulbs broken. Wrong advertising, no good, need fix.

Ordered two LED's and instead received two T5's, one of which was broken on arrival. Super disappointed

First, two quick things regarding silly reviews:1) Being sent an incorrect or damaged (in-transit) product isn't a legitimate reason to review a product poorly. Rate the business or shipper poorly instead. Or shop at a more specialized store that knows what it's shipping.2) Using an INDOOR light OUTDOORS and writing a negative review because it "filled with water" after rain is both funny and sad. Believe it or not, these INDOOR lights won't actually fill with water unless they are literally kept outside during rain... :-| lolI've been using these (from a different source) for 2+ years now and they are mint. They perform well, don't get super-hot, and grow plants from 12-24in away without much issue. They are super-bright day spectrum LEDs though, so don't expect the blurple hue found elsewhere. PAR specs are halfway decent too, although a little weak towards the red-end of the spectrum. If you are looking to grow plants farther than 24in away, you'll need to double-up (or triple-up) with these LEDs. Don't expect a huge energy savings vs. T5HO, considering there's only a 6W difference between 48in models.
