I looked around Amazon and other vendors ( just to be sure) for a decent cast for my new G s5 and stumbled onto this little gem. The plastic inner case fits reasonable well, one small spot at the upper corner just won't seem to snap shut, but other wise a good fit. The outer rubber shell has a rather nice silicone rubber feel, and is very grippy in my shirt pocket when not in the fairly rugged plastic outer holster. I did have to cut off the little nub that holds the belt clip open (a feature not needed in my opinion) as at times it failed to release the clip and twice let the whole thing fall from my belt. But no worries as this little case did just as I had hoped it would and protected my phone with absolutely no damage at all. I'm going to buy a spare just in the off chance I needed a spare part. Very much worth the price!

OK I don't write many reviews. Buy I had to write this one. I got this case a while back but never really knew how durable it was. Well today I found out. I have a habit of setting my phone on top of my car. Usually it is in my holster because I clip it on my visor so I can see or talk to it. Anyway, I went to the grocery store and left it up there when I drove off. I got out of the parking lot and on to the main highway when it fell off. The phone cartwheeled off and landed in the road. I got it before it got ran over. When I picked it up there wasn't a scratch on the case or screen. Highly recommended. On a small side not the little clip that serves as a kickstand did break off a while back.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy 5 and needed a case similar to the defender, this is priced perfect and is a great buy. It comes with a clip and I replaced my survivor case with this one because it's a tight fit. Quality material, protects most of the phone, would've give 5 stars if it come with the hard plastic in the front of the cover but it only has a screen protector. I still highly recommend especially for the price. Easy to put phone in and this case is not bulky. The phone clip holds phone tight, and doesn't fall out. This is very close to the defender excluding the hard plastic screen protector.

Great case. Yes it came with a stench like others have said, but I have had this case for a little over a week and the smell is gone. Love the ring on the back! It works as a stand for the phone in portrait or landscape and is great for holding onto the phone too. Case cutouts are perfect and all buttons work flawlessly. Case completely wraps around the phone edges and fits like a glove, very well protected. Case does not easily come out of my pocket, it is designed for holster use only. Holster is sturdy and holds the phone very well, I do not see it failing me anytime soon.I would highly recommend this phone case and brand to friends and family

I really liked this case. It's not too bulky, the belt-clip works nice, the easel works great.The drawback is: Sliding the phone out of the belt-clip. The rubber encasement of the phone case grabs at the belt-clip as you pull it out so you have to use your other hand to hold the belt-clip as you draw the phone out. If you just want to use the basic phone case portion and not the belt-clip, that's a really good case - - The case is a really nice case, comparable to Otterbox but not nearly as expensive.

Coming from various phones that have had the main brand names, this case/clip blows them all away. Very well built and very sturdy case. The clip is amazingly rugged and strong. The stand features on both the clip and case make it ideal to set up and watch video or read very easily. Another plus is the phone can be put in the case both ways, unlike the other brand, which makes answering a whole lot easier while its clipped to your belt. The only small issue I have is trying to open the charging port. I have to use my pocketknife to do so, so i just leave it open during the day unless Im near water.would buy again!

I had previously purchased one in black and green and loved it, but broke the belt clip off. So I reordered and decided to go with a different color. This one was also a different design and was absolutely huge! I am a rather small woman, standing at 5'2". I looked like a kid, carrying daddy's laptop on my belt! Price was so good, though, I didn't mind springing for another one and ordered plain black and got the original design. If you want the smaller version, look in the pictures for the kickstand to be square, rather than round. As far as protection goes, this is great! I have dropped my galaxy 5s several times with no issue.

I gave it a 4/5 for how easy it was to put on. I like how it protects the screen, you're not likely to get any scratches by laying it down on its face or dropping it and it landing face down b/c of its raised face cover. They threw in a free screen protector - wasn't expecting that either. Like it!
