Purchased this to replace one that was plastic and broke. Use this to put buttercream frosting into small containers for cinnamon rolls. Works well and seems sturdy during several uses. Like that it comes apart to clean which makes it easier.

Back to 5 Stars! Their customer service contacted me and sent a replacement for my cracked one. Purchased April of 2023, originally rated it at 5 stars, have down graded to 1. Plastic case cracked within 6 months, no way to contact manufacturer. Purchase with caution!

Perfect for what I need. Easy to handle and easy to clean.

At first this looked like a cool gadget. Seemed sturdy and well-designed. It was, however, very difficult to push the frosting through. And then, upon FIRST use, the black handle broke. Now absolutely useless. Returned.

I ordered this to decorate my grandsons’ graduation cakes. It is a beautiful tool and I wish I could have used it, but I have arthritis and for me it was just a tad too heavy and I couldn’t grip the gun and squeeze the trigger at the same time. If I could have done these two things, I’d have snapped it up in à heartbeat. I ended up buying the squeeze bottles with the insertable metal tips Amazon also sold those. They were soft an easy to squeeze. They were also easy to fill and clean. Perfect for my hands!

Poorly built. The filling I was piping into a pastry leaked around the threaded collar that presses against the steel cylinder and made a mess. See photo. Started leaking at the threaded area on the left and began dripping from the area marked on the right. I screwed it together so tight it was extremely difficult to disassemble and it still leaked.

This decorator is well-made and so much fun to use. I made some beautiful deviled eggs. I enjoyed not having to use a bag with decorator tips because I feel they are difficult to use and the results are not uniform. This product also reduces the amount of waste because the gun forces the the contents through the tube. It was definitely worth the money.

I bought this because my wife makes so many deviled eggs for different occasions. It makes it so much easier, faster and more decorative. We had one exactly like this one that lasted many years, but it finally wore out. My wife would not tackle all the deviled eggs she does without it.

The plastic is very cheap. The plunger isn't flush with the cylinder. There's a huge gap.The spring is pushing the plunger towards one side so it's very hard to depress and scrapes against one side.I haven't even used it, just returned it. You might end up doing the same so maybe I'll save people some time.
