MZYRH Bike Pedals R my new BF
they look good from opening the box. The 'resin' felt solid and real, not heap. Threading and finish of the spindle are very good. I de-brand, debur, clean out to relube, and re-polish or re-paint jiust about every part I buy. The left ped had .2mm axial runout (play). So I tuned both - the inside looked as finished as the outside!. Even the grease is good for some milage. Very cool. The pair come with 40 mounted and 2 spare spikes or cleats, and four SS spindle washers. I had so much fun looking for good pedal washers that when i found them I stocked for my descendants. they look good from opening the box. The 'resin' felt solid and real, not heap. The spikes are little allen bolts and nuts and like to get loose. Also they rust. Not gona spend $50 for SS w/Nylok so I pulled all, hit em w/MetalPrep -acid- dried then doused w/zinc - Galv ina Can. Assembled barely flash dry so loctite isn't needed. WhileI had the pedals off I repacked the bearings with that fancy French teflon grease....two mor days ...? Stylin, light, durable, nay, bombproof Perfection underfoot for about $25 for the pedals, and an hour to tighten up an already good product. Thanx MZYRH .

Higher quality than "name brand" pedals costing 2x-3x more.
After years of riding clipless pedals, I decided to go back to riding flats for my full suspension bike. Having worked in the bicycle industry many years ago and having ridden mountain bikes for 30 years I know what to look for in quality pedals if you want them to last. However not knowing the flat pedal market, I asked around and almost everyone told me to get Race Face Chester pedals. I almost pull the trigger but after looking at a set in person I didn't because they were $59 for plastic pedals using DU bushings. I wanted something with all bearings and perhaps a little less expensive since I wasn't sure I'd like flat pedals. I found a recommendation online for these MZYRH pedals and for $20 figured I couldn't go wrong. I can tell you after riding these for a couple months in PNW winter conditions, I am very impressed! They are easily as quality as the Chesters (they are also not clones of the Chester, if anything they strongly resemble Bontrager Line Elite pedals) with better bearings. With a pair of Five Ten shoes, my feet are absolutely glued to the pedals in even the worst muck. Bearings feel smooth and the pedal bodies have survived a few hard pedal strikes with nothing more than some scratches.

Love these pedals, better than the RaceFace and Fookers
These were originally bought as a lightweight pair to carry on long bike trips just in case a pedal were to break (something I have experienced with RaceFace Chesters twice). I got a new bike and ordered new pedals but the bike arrived before the pedals so these got put on “to get me by.” Well… that was hundreds of miles ago and they Chesters still sit in their package because these weigh less and feel better to me. I will be buying and recommending these pedals to all the owners of mountain bikes I work on moving forward.

Excellent value!
Still preforming great well over a year since purchase, the only issue I have with these pedals is that they may not be serviceable (the nuts holding the axis in place just keep spinning when I try to disassemble them) but other than that they are prefect.
