When this arrived, as others noted, it did have a plastic odor. I opened it out and hung it in the garage for a day and not it's not off gassing anymore. I have bad asthma so I'm like a canary, and it's not been bothering me. I got the beige one with the fruit and it's a pretty, understated pattern that's clearly printed and goes well with my modern Victorian bedroom to cover a cheap folding table. The back side is fuzzy enough to keep it from shifting all over, though it's not traditional oilcloth but a bit thinner so be careful sliding heavy metal objects around on it. Does fine with books and sewing basket. After a week it still has some packing wrinkles in it so I may wet it and smooth it out again, but all in all it's a good value for the price. Not much money to turn a cheap folding table into a prettier drawing and writing desk. Just let it do its off gassing in another room when it first arrives :)

We bought this tablecloth to use on our kitchen table. The flannel backing works very well to hold the cloth to the table. The background coloring is a very subtle tannish yellow. I am not a yellow fan, but this color works well with the fruit on the tablecloth and is not at all garish. The fruit is very nice and does not overwhelm. It is not loud and blends in well with the room. Great pattern for late spring, summer, and fall. We are very happy with this product and would buy it again.

Although I have a large kitchen, I do not have the counter space necessary to roll out 3 loaves of Cinnamon Bread or 3 pounds of strudel. I remembered my mother used to roll out dough on our kitchen table and thought using this cloth on my table might work. It's perfect! The dough rolls easily without sticking, cleans up with a wet cloth, and is pretty enough to leave on the table after I'm done.

It is a thicker vinyl with a flannel backing.this means it hangs over the edge of the table properly and stays put.it is also easy to wipe down. This is great for protecting a table top. I would use it whenever I'm doing something messy because it makes clean up easy.

It's a nice, decent weight table cloth, but one caveat: Do not machine wash. We have two of these table cloths. One got a little moldy from being outside and damp all the time. We machine washed it and it lost a little of the backing. The second got greasy, We machine washed it and it lost a lot of the baking and developed a long slit which made it unusable.

Glad I found this tablecloth! Our old one finally ripped, so we had to discard. Our kitchen table is old and scarred from years of use, so I needed something quick to cover all the nicks & imperfections. This one is a nice, easy keeper/cleaner upper. The fruit design is simple, but tasteful (no pun intended). It's a great value and came fast with my Amazon Prime. Bottom line is I would definitely not hesitate to purchase again.

Apple Delicious Flannel Backed Vinyl Tablecloth, 60x84 Oblong(Rectangle) I purchased this for my table and was surprised when I saw the quality of the tablecloth. After unfolding it and placing it on my table it is as described. It cleans well, presents itself well and the company that sells it has already sent me an email asking me if all is well with my tablecloth. in this day and age customer service as well as quality products at a reasonable price are hard to find.

Just received. Pretty good quality. Love the colors and pattern. The background is a more of a dull yellowish cream color and not off-white or white ( 4 stars for that). But in spite of that, it does look good. All in all a good buy so far. In the attached picture the color of the background looks whiter but it is actually more like the pic posted by TomF.

I have had this tablecloth for not even 2 months and there are a lot of nicks & tears in it already (no children here). The vinyl is just way too thin. The background color is a pale yellow definitely not beige, but since my walls are yellow, the color match is really nice.I will surely not return this item and pay another shipping charge of $20.00. Next time I probably will not buy anything that has a shipping charge by the manufacturer and is not sold directly from Amazon.
