I tried finding these at several big-box and chain stores in my area and there were none to be found. Amazon had them and they were priced fairly. These binders are kinda' heavy duty and should last a long time and they'll protect my important legal-size papers for a long time. Don't forget to think about page protectors for your important papers!

I like this binder quite well. I'm using it as a photograph album. It accommodates long 3-photo sleeves which stick out of normal binders, and all other lengths. And it allows you to put a photo under the front clear sheet so you can see at a glance what's within.Problems. I could almost not remove the advertising sheet from under the clear plastic cover. It was so stuck! I was afraid it was going to rip and stay stuck in there for good. I wiggled it back and forth and back and forth, and it finally came out. Phew! Also the clear plastic sheet is a bit soft and retains indentations. I mean, you can ignore that, but it's not perfect. But I was glad to find this with the plastic "cover." Amazon is the only place I found them. (I wish they made legal binders in color.)

I love this binder!!! It’s perfect for long papers that wouldn’t normally go inside of a regular binder. Highly recommended!!

What a terrible disappointment this binder is. I searched and searched for what I thought was a good quality legal size binder that has a view pocket in the front and that is wide enough to accommodate pages being in sleeve protectors. I excitedly awaited the arrival of this one, but when it arrived I was so disappointed. When closed with the top cover over the bottom cover, the entire right edge of the front cover is 3/8" to the left of the back cover's right edge. No amount of pushing the top cover to the right would make it stay in place. I am returning it. I want it to put family heirloom genealogy information in and I need it to hold up for many, many years to come. It is expensive to begin with, but I was willing to pay the price if it would hold up over the years. However, it is not even good to begin with.
