Works great. Fixed my problem of resolution whenon my headless server. Cheap and easy to use.

I run a home web server with no monitor, and access it via VNC. When restarting, I'd have to plug it into a monitor or it would default to super low resolution and run at a snail pace. This magnificent little liar, however, has the computer convinced there a high resolution monitor attached to it, so VNC works like normal, delivering a high resolution screen at full speed. Easily worth the money.

This thing is amazing and dumb simple. Using to be able to remotely control my personal MacBook from my work computer eliminating the need for multiple keyboards and monitors on my desk. My MacBook can now sit in its stand on the back of the desk closed with a power cable plugged in to activate clamshell mode.Only thing to make this better would be a tiny loop to attach a little tether so I could keep it attached to the power cable when not in use. I already misplaced it on my desk once and took me a while to figure out I had shoved it into my pocket for some crazy reason.

Did the job. Let me use my old Mac mini headless.

What can I say about this little gadget? It does what it says: tricks my computer into thinking it has a second monitor that's higher resolution. I use it to record Steam Deck games at 1080p and it works perfectly.
