Fantasy Tiny Homes Coloring Book (R.J. Hampson Coloring Books)

I recently started coloring again when my toddler niece fell in love with my colored pencils. Every evening, she wants to color with me and while she colors, I found myself coloring too and wanting to expand my coloring book collection. When this arrived, I realized that this coloring book is beyond perfect because it has TWO copies of each illustration. You are basically buying two copies of this coloring book, but in one. The coloring book says that they did this so that the person coloring, has two chances to color the same picture, but in a different way. It's perfect for me because I can let my toddler niece color one of the pages, and I still have a chance to color my own grown up version since there are two copies of each coloring page.

I have bought two of his books. The books are nice , the paper is nice.

The black backing makes the pages a dingy color making color pay off very minimal. The images aren't tiny homes and most have no background they are just images floating on the pages. Some images are quite a bit more adequate for a child but they are so small crayons will not work. How is random stacking of cat boxes a tiny home? I blame myself for not looking at reviews with photos. Definitely returning.

Nostalgic, charming illustrations. I love each one! Highly recommend.

We admire his art and sense of humor. Between my nephew and I, we have six of his books. Never disappointed with the way we can share the books and the unlimited color choices for Hampson's art. Thanks so much for such fun coloring books!

The book must have been printed twice so I guess it turned out to be two book accidently. I liked the prints, hope the kids do too.

The book is slightly smaller than A4 size. It has 2 set of images in case you want to complete the same image twice. The illustrations are as the title suggests fantasy houses, they are line drawings not grayscale. They are single sided with black back which is a great addition if you want to save the next illustration coming as the paper is fairly thin, amazon paper. If you want to use any water based medium like markers, watersoluble pencils or paint you have to be very very careful as even a tiny amount of water can bleed through easily. So having said that I think this book is mostly suitable for pencils.I have given 4 stars as I think the book is slightly overpriced by amazon compared to the quality of paper used but the illustrations are very nice.

Images are fantastic but paper quality lets it down - seller would be better off offering PDF downloads so customers can print on to their own paper or card stock of choice and quality.

Beautiful coloring book

I bought this recently and think it's great! I've bought a few of R J Hampson's colouring books and enjoy the quirkiness of the illustrations as well as the fact that there are two of each one to try different colouring. It turned up pretty quickly considering the world we live in right now. Looking forward to future releases by R J Hampson.
