Curlee Girlee

The perfect story to build a foundation of confidence for girls with curly or textured hair.
There are so many wonderful things about this book! The story, the illustrations, and the overall brand message are exactly what I feel our young little girls need in this mixed up, chaotic world. I don't have children of my own, but I'm an aunt. I bought this for one of my nieces who has curly hair just like me. It took me nearly three decades to embrace my own curls. This book totally sets the stage for impressionable young Curlee Girlees to embrace their textured hair! My niece loves her book so much!! This is one of those special gems that I hope she'll hold on to for a lifetime keepsake. It will make a great gift for any little Curlee Girlees!

We love
It broke my heart to hear my 3 year old daughter say that she hated her curly hair and that she wasn’t “beautiful.” This went on for a couple of months. I found and ordered this book, and honestly- since reading this book she loves her curly hair! We call her curly girlee now and she loves it- she has also named the hairstyle of leaving it natural with no bows or elastics “curly girlee.” So grateful for this book!

Long Live Curly Girls!!!
Having curly hair and hating it for years and years because I was never educated on how to care and manage it until adulthood I have embraced my hair for years now as an adult - I was also blessed with my Daughter who’s a curly head too! I always remind her how beautiful her hair is and how unique she is to have curly whirls, for her 3rd birthday I gave her this book and dedicated it to her.. she sits and reads it often and always reads my message. So happy she loves her hair and proudly says thank you every time she get complimented.

As charming as it is therapeutic!
Curlee Girlee is a delightful book, both visually and for its outstanding content. As a speech-language pathologist, I applaud the author's successful effort to charm as she therapeutically and thoughtfully guides young children through the process of feeling okay about and learning to celebrate what makes them feel different. The illustrations are as captivating as the ideas!

Very sweet book for a girl who is unsure about her curls-- very uplifting and confidence boosting.

Love this!
My daughter has beautiful curly hair. She also started out very bald. There was so much about the story she could relate to. She has also asked me to straighten her hair bit then she didn't like it. Lol.

like mine does
If you have a little girl that struggles with her naturally curly hair, like mine does, this book is wonderful! My 5 year old really enjoys reading it.

Good message, so so writing.
It's a nice book to promote loving your hair for the way it it's, but didn't find the writing very creative. My daughter didn't like the fact that none of characters got real names. Maybe I'm being picky.
