Falcon Eyes 48W Led SO-48TDX II Dimmable 3000-5600K Lighting Soft Light Photo Video Film Continuous Light with 9 Scene Effect Mode

I've had the 28W version of this same light for several months now. I liked it so much that I saved up and bought the 48W version. I use it for YouTube videos in my home studio, and I can't compliment this light enough for that purpose. Turn it down low, get it nice and close, and I get really great looking soft lighting for talking-head type of shots. And you can crank it up to 100% and darn near light up the whole room. I don't use the color temperature setting very much, since 5600K daylight is ideal for my situation, but I love that it's an option. And the ability to link my lights together and control both of them at the same time is pretty darned cool too. Highly recommended if you're an aspiring videographer. My only complaint is that I think that the price is a bit too steep. They're great lights, but there is definitely a premium for them.

Pricey but what a good product. Falcon Eyes makes excellent lights and this is one of them. I own a number of their lights and rate the Flap Jack an 8. I also own their flex panel units (RX-12T) which I rate a 9. The Flap Jack is easier to setup but is far heavier than the flex panels. Both come with good cases.

I have purchased several of the SO-28, 48 lights and they are excellent. Foto Vision is also a great vendor and their customer service is top-notch. I recommend this product!

I've bought two of the SO-28TDs and one of the SO-48TDs. The 48 had been used as a key light for less than a year on a handful of jobs and suddenly stopped working. The back control panel lights up when connected to a power source, but no light is emitted from the front panel. Really disappointing to see a light that did a great job providing soft even studio light in a relatively small form factor just stop working. I'm very hesitant to trust this brand with another 300 dollars.
