The focal I used is called Harley Fordite. Similar to original Fordite from the Ford plants, but from a different place. This special, rare material was created from decades of build up at a custom Harley Davidson shop. Layer upon layer, paint over-spray built up around whatever was being painted. I'm making the jewelry from these leftover chunks of paint!!! It's super fun recycling and a great gift for the Harley enthusiast! *The ring pictured is the one you will receive. I love this Fordite! It's super cool because it has a crystal quartz dome on it that magnifies the Fordite!!! It's really mesmerizing to look at. This is special material from a custom Harley Davidson shop. I bezel set the cabochon ( 5/8" ) in fine silver .999 to a hammered and shaped adjustable sterling silver hammered band. Band is 9mm wide & size is 8 3/4, but is adjustable up about 1- 1.5 sizes. Sizing down is free...just let me know your size! With a ring band this wide it is best to figure about 3/4 size larger than what you would normally wear with a thinner band ring.
