don't use this around salt water !!!
I generally don't write reviews on products unless they are exceptional and deserve a review to add or if they're terrible... in this case, this water hose FAILED..... I did expose it to the harsh salt water environment of being on boat, but it was in a storage bin when not in use... so it only saw the sun when it was used.... but after four months of use - it started to spring little pin-hole leaks. This hose is super nice in the fact that it has built in strain reliefs and nice swivel thread fitting - no one else has these and they are awesome!!I purchased it because of all the five-star reviews, but seriously.... after only a few months on a boat and less than a dozen uses, the hose was useless. I finally purchased a marine hose so we'll see how long that lasts.... this hose might be great all around the house and temporary purposes... but if you're buying it for a BOAT for salt water.... BEWARE !!!! the salt will eat it up!!!

Great hose for it's purpose but...
I use the hose for my water connection to my RV. It works great, stores easily and is easy to empty. This is the second one that I have purchased. Only 3 stars because while the hose is versatile, it is not sturdy and will develop holes sooner rather than later. If this could be made with a little bit stronger hose it would get 5 stars. Since it is for drinking water I know that it has to be made with potable water materials but at $25.00 a hose it gets expensive to have to replace every 6 months.

Best thing since...
We've been using this hose for 3 seasons now and absolutely no problems. This thing is a campers dream. Its lightweight, stores compactly in about a a foot and half of space and yet stretches to twenty five feet. I was a little concerned that it would be long enough to reach the spigot at all campgrounds, but it has not let us down yet.Hookups are easier too... you can hold the entire length of the hose in one hand while attaching it to inlet and spigot, instead of fumbling with an unwieldily traditional hose which in our case usually ended up in a puddle or in the dirt before we got hooked up.Just a great hose, I highly recommend!

Short Lifetime
I really liked this hose until it developed small pin holes because it didn't kink and it was handy. Only had it this summer and it has several pin holes in it. It is stored inside a shed and so it wasn't even the sun. Do not recommend.

No problems with this item
Works fine. No leaks. Would have given it a 5 but the connections are cheaply made. It is a space saver in my motor home. Hopefully it will last awhile.

Great hose NOT NOT NOT
I actually had a curly hose for many years that I purchased when I first bought my MH. Someone stole it from my site up in Oregon. I had actually taken the MH out for the day and left the hose attached to let people know I would be back. I guess that wasn't the wisest thing to do. Anyhow, I couldn't find another for months and had to use the reguarl 25 foot white hose. What a pain that is. This stores in a small containter that I keep all my water related things in and is so much neater looking at the campsite. I would recommend this product whole-heartedly.WARNING WARNING WARNINGAfter using this hose for three RV trips of one week each, on the fourth trip I hooked it up and it looked just like a sprinkler system. There were large cracks every inch or so along the entire hose. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE HOSES!!!!!!!!!!!

Be careful...
It's a well made hose with quality end fittings but suffers from the problem of all coiled hoses. Stretch this out 15' and you'll be fine. Stretch it out 20' and watch out. If you drop it it'll snap back with considerable force. Don't even think about using it as a 25' hose. I bought it to use in a greenhouse so it will never stretch that far but it's still too soon to tell how it will hold up to the sun exposure.

RV Water Hose
I have owned several of this type RV water hose. It is/has been an extremely efficient, convenient, easy-to-handle and store piece of RV equipment. If I were to change anything about it, it would be to include a simple-to-make PVC pipe holder for the hose. This apparatus makes storing and maintaining the elasticity of the hose remarkably easy. To make the storer, simply cut an 18-20" piece of 1" pvc, along with two pieces approximately 2 1/2" in length. Use a pvc "T" on each end of the longer piece, attaching the 2 1/2" to each end. Last, place a pvc elbow (4) on each end and voila!, you're done! The cost for such a piece of equipment is about $4.50 - $5.00 ( mass-produced, it would cost significantly less, allowing the sale of the hose-kit at only a small increase in price). I hope this information proves helpful to customers and company alike.
