I waited weeks for these, and when they finally arrived I had to throw them away.The bag was dirty, looked old, and even had fur on it terrible quality. Didn’t look like the picture at all .

For those who complain about staleness, you should skillet the puffed pieces before eating. On medium heat in a stainless steel or cast iron pan (nonstick is unhealthy), toast the Makhana in a single layer for about 10 minutes, or until crisp and pleasantly golden. Stir constantly to avoid burning. For added flavor, a bit of ghee (clarified butter) is nice. For me, I don't add ghee at this point. I then pour them into a bowl and add a mixture of 1 tablespoon of olive oil that's been blended with my favorite dried herbs or curry powder. Eat immediately. Makhana absorbs moisture, so you must store them in an airtight container.

I bought three bags. 1st bag perfect in 3very way. 2nd bag has either fur or hair in it. Poor quality control of a very delicious product. This is a gamble.
