I know from reading many other reviews that there have been a certain number of complaints about the quality of these shorts, but I find they suit me down to the ground so I thought I'd address a few of them.First of all, the sizing seems absolutely fine. I think that people have possibly been buying them without checking the size chart, hence the issues: I have nothing in my wardrobe in an XL waist apart from these, but their definition of an XL is 33-34.5" and since I'm around about 34" they therefore fit just fine.They're lightweight, which evidently makes them feel a bit cheap and flimsy to some people, but I've found them to be sturdy. They are worn for all my runs, and since I'm out on the roads most days they go through a lot of workout and wash cycles yet show no signs as yet of falling to bits, not even so much as one or two loose threads. I'll concede, however, that I'm not using them for really heavy lifting sessions down the gym, so I can't comment on how well the seams will hold up under the stress of something like doing a load of squats.The pocket zips aren't weak but they are a little stiff and finnicky to open and close. These shorts are also non-iron and have a tendency to get a bit crumpled, which I understand some will find annoying in the extreme but which doesn't bother me at all (they're something to get hot and sweaty in, after all, not a fashion item to be worn on a night out at a swanky restaurant.)Overall I'd give them 4.5 stars if that option were available. I've gone for 5 because they do the business and there's nothing seriously wrong with them, so 4 would feel like undermarking.

Nice light weight shorts but come up larger than expected.

Comfortable and easy to care for, has zipped pockets for keys etc.

Cannot comment on usage quality etc as the shorts were too tight to wear. The manufacturers product swipe picture review stated a 2XL size which differed from that on the "sizing guide". I would say the latter is correct.

I love these shorts, I ordered the XL, so are a bit bigger than expected.

Ideal for running with the important addition of zipped pockets. No risk of the key falling out.

Poor quality and quality control. Zips are flimsy and zipping motion is not smooth at all. Constantly gets stuck. Stitching loose. Weird proportions; legs and crotch haven’t been measured correctly. Material is very thin, but not in a technical, quality way; they feel cheap and have most likely used the most basic material. The size tag isn’t even stitched straight.How can you even release these when they’re so bad? Wanted to support a family business but these are rubbish!

They are good for hot weather running, or wearing over leggings in the winter. The pocket at the back is handy for keys too. What more do you need from running shorts?
