There is no way to produce the beautiful cookies shown in the illustration with these stamps, not without equipment you don't have and they don't sell. The suggested method is to roll a ball of dough and smash it flat with the stamp, guaranteeing a misshapen cookie with an off-center impression and cracks along the rim. You could roll out your dough, stamp the impression and cut around it with a circle cutter, but without so much as a plunger to apply even pressure, the embossment may be uneven, and removing the cut cookies may distort the shape further. I regret buying them.

Good quality but it must take practice to imprint cookies right. Some of mine were perfect; others you couldnt tell what the design was.

We bought these cookie stamps just before Christmas and have already used them to make several batches of springerle and almond cookies. They work really well and give a good impression. We found that a clean toothbrush dipped in a little extra light olive oil works well to grease the stamp between each cookie.

Excellent. I really wanted the sun and the moon and i find the detail is quite sharp and transfers well. I will use them for both cookies and clay ornaments.

Have ordered this twice. Only one stamp arrives. I thought it was a set of 3.
