Clothes Moth Trap 8 (6+2 Free Traps) Pack with Pheromones Prime, Clothing Moth Trap with Lure for Clothes Closets, Carpet, Clothes and Prevention

Ever since we bought our house I noticed these brown moths flying in our closets. I hate the smell of moth balls so tried these and they worked great! These were from 2 separate closets on 2 different floors. Just ordered another round. I did put one on the closet rod as well as on the floor as suggested. The floor ones caught some, but not as much as the ones hanging on the rod.

Started seeing the little ba*****s on the wall here and there last summer. Vacuumed, sprayed, used boric acid, threw away 2 (formerly) extremely nice rugs, bagged clothes in closets, etc. They were getting rare, but we had some kind of hatch last week and have seen them around. This week I used ChatGPt and asked what to do. Got 3 answers, ordered all 3, and this was the first to arrive. Put 2 in each of 3 closets per instruction. By late afternoon I had trapped about 25 moths total. 2 days later have only trapped one or two more. Assuming there are some eggs to hatch, might see some more BUT, finally confident that we found something that absolutely works.

Unfortunately these did not work. Not one moth was caught. Tried every approach too, one in each room as to not overwhelm them with the hormones —nothing. Tried 3-6 in each room—nothing. Very frustrating.

In the last 6 months, all my 100% wool and cashmere!!! sweaters have gotten holes in them. So many that many are no longer wearable because of the dozens of holes in each sweater. I ordered these moth traps hoping to help catch and stop the holes from happening. After putting the traps out for 2 weeks we have seen nothing in the traps. I looked up online what could cause holes in wool sweaters and it seems like there are a lot of different things that can cause it so unfortunately whatever is eating my sweaters, this isn't working. I put them in my closet but have not seen a single moth in any of the traps. I may not have moths although I have in the past, so I really can't review them because that might be the reason they haven't caught any.I will update this review if moths start to appear in the traps. I use the pantry moth traps in the kitchen and they work very well. So for now the 3 stars is just because I don't now yet whether or not they work.

The two extra traps make this a pretty good deal. We have a number of similar products and they all work the same: they are fly paper that is infused with pheromones that smell like female moths in heat. The males go crazy, get caught on the sticky paper, and the females are out of luck. Sometimes other bugs get trapped on the sticky paper--which is fine with me. The clothes traps have an extra piece of cardboard that allows you to hang them next to your cloths. I've used other brands in the panty and they seem to be as effective there as the traps designed for the pantry. We had a terrible, terrible moth problem, but thanks to traps like these I have been able to keep wool sweaters longer than a year. It's mid winter now. So there is no way to tell how they will work, but I expect them to be as good as the others.

How many times have you pulled out a beautiful wool or cashmere coat, sweater, suit or pants, only to see a small hole in an obvious spot? I know I have.
