Great informative book! I bought one for myself and recently for a dear, dear friend!
It is a great book for grieving widows. Not really sure why it has Catholic name attached bc it does not reflect to that religion.

It’s OK
It’s not bad, but I need more help than this book provides. It would be a good book in addition to therapy and a book that dives deeper into our Catholic faith.

Helpful
I received this book from my father's Pastor immediately after my father's death. Though I realize that everyone is different, this book helped me immensely in dealing with my father's passing and I believe it can help a great multitude of people--possibly even those who aren't Catholic to an extent. My faith has been tested and still is, but I have found some peace in some of the points made in the book and it is helping my faith to win the struggle. Though it's been over a year now since his death, I still find the book worthwhile to read; especially so after the numbness and the speed of things that occur immediately after death. If you've lost someone recently, I am truly sorry. If you're Catholic, definitely consider purchasing this book. If you're not, think of doing the same, if only to glean one point to help you with your struggle.

Highly recommend this book!
This book has been very helpful to me as I lost my mother and to my father especially who lost his wife of 47 years. He was so lost, and this book hit every concern he had and gave solutions that came straight from our Catholic faith. I have since purchased this book for a friend and will do so for all my friends who lose a loved one in the future. It has been very helpful on my grief journey.

Grief - how do you get through it?
As one tries to heal their wounds of the loss of a special one, they also have to be aware of those around them that are suffering, too. How can you helpsomeone when you are at your lowest? How do you even recognize there is a need? This book points out and discribes how to better go through this journet and what to expect than any other book I have read. It can help many and you do not have to be of this faith to reap benefit from it.

Good book for Grief
I actually received my copy of this book directly from the author when it was first released. I was attending a greif seminar with my father-in-law exactly two weeks after my wife and mother-in-law were killed in an auto accident.I have found this book to be such a good reference and support, I have bought additional copies for friends and and people I know who have lost their spouses during the past year. Do not be turned off by the title if you are not Catholic, much of the advice is appropriate for those of all faiths.

Very helpful book to read.
This is a very good book to read when you have lost someone very close to you. It is so helpful to those of Faith who want to know how, and why we grieve. I have bought extra books to give to my family, and friends when they need them, they have told me how grateful they are to have them to read.

A good book for those grieving or looking to help those in grief.
This is an excellent resource for those who are going through the grieving process, or for anyone who works with or is looking to set up a bereavement group within a Catholic environment.
