Bertazzoni508041 THERMOCOUPLE OVEN BURNER

Not impressed with the Bertazzoni brand, but installed this thermocouple and the oven works without issue. We always had issues since day one with the oven. Technician came out to see why oven was inconsistent in heating, burning, undercooking, etc. His fix was for us to use the convection oven! After replacing the thermocouple (oven finally quit staying lit after only 3 years after purchase) it works well. I do NOT recommend Bertazzoni brand, but if you're stuck with one and need a thermo, this one works well.

I sometimes will purchase the wrong part for a repair. Not so with this. Oven failed to maintain flame and I googled problem to find out it was a failed thermocoupler. There are many to chose from online and this worked perfectly.

Just installed it tonight. On Wednesday my wife tried cooking and the pilot would light in the oven but once the ignition cycle ended you could hear the gas valve shutoff. I thought it probably was a heat sensor to detect if the flame was on so I turned to YouTube and found several videos showing the same result. Pulled out the manual and found the part number. Ordered it from Amazon and received it on Friday (tonight). Now the oven 🔥 and stays on.Not too bad to install, but was disappointed in the design and lack of craftsmanship in the Bertazzoni brand. No wire channels and lack of simple planning to make things organized. Also the thermocoupler was broken at the base where it joins the copper tube. The wire was exposed and probably explains the issue. It looked like the initial installer bent the wire too sharply and caused the damage. Fortunately their replacement part was in great shape. Let’s hope this part lasts.

Only thing i wish they would be specific about how far from the burner the thermocoupler has to be. Initially it did not work, but when I pulled it out a 1/4" - she worked and has been great since.

Fit my Bertazzoni oven.Part arrived in great condition, exactly as pictured and was installed in about 45 mins. New part immediately fixed the issue and has been running for roughly 7 days with no issues.Once the old part was removed you could see it was badly charred where the tubing meets the sensor end and had separated. Original part lasted 8-9 years with moderate weekly use.

Replaced the thermocouple on a Bertazzoni X366GGVXEasy to replace and fixed our oven. Hopefully it lasts.

Skip this brand. Had it for 14 years now. You are pretty much stuck buying factory parts for it, they aren't really that pricey, but the problem is that nobody local carries parts, and you are usually stuck waiting for them. I'd love to go down to my local HD, Lowes, appliance store, or even HVAC supply and grab an off the shelf replacement and be done with it in a day, instead we're cripped with cooking options, eating out. Oh... first world problems I guess. Can't wait for summer when we can cook outside every nite.Cooktop works great, oven sucks.Broiler will either take forever or burn your food in 10 seconds.Oven, if it decides to stay lit, will cook unevenly or burn, with or without convection.I don't think I've had a solid year on this thing without some kind of issue.But it looks nice!
