The media could not be loaded.  I've been shopping around for about a month trying to find a good VR headset. I tried a few other ones but they were either too uncomfortable, didn't come with a remote or I had a hard time getting them to focus. This one worked great out of the box and had everything I was looking for. I go over the details in the video review, hope this helps!

I've been looking at VR headsets and have never owned one before, so I have nothing to compare this one to. It looked like a good deal, so I took the leap. I love this headset. I was afraid I'd need to spend a lot more to get a good one, but this one was actually what I would consider to be a low price. I downloaded a couple of VR apps from the Google Play store to try it with I remember "Fulldive" was one of them).I have a Galaxy Note 5, which is one of the bigger phones out there, and it still fit in the headset's C-clamp thingy, even after putting in the little sticky pads that protect the phone's buttons from being pushed unintentionally. I adjusted the head straps and it sat comfortably on my head. Thankfully it was also very light, even with my phone inside. A couple of knob turns and the visual experience was nicely in focus. The only improvement I can think of was that the seal could maybe have been closer around my nose; but that might be a problem with my nose vs. a problem with the fit. LOL.I basically knew nothing about VR headsets or apps; and within 5 or 10 minutes, I downloaded an app, my phone put into the headset with everything adjusted, got batteries in the controller, and I was off and running in the world of VR. Overall, great product, easy to use, low price, great seller and fast shipping. That gets 5 stars in my book.

Most importantly, the device works! That needs to be said upfront. But once that is said, it has a lot of issues and problems exacerbated by a lack of instructions. The most important problem is the lack of decent documentation. But even with good documentation, the quality of the plastic in this product is low to very low. The magnets on the front cover lasted less than two weeks. Now, it just falls off. One of the little 'hooks' to hold in the top of the phone broke in less than 30 minutes. Fortunately, those pieces don't really accomplish anything anyway so it was not catastrophic. In order for this to work with any device -- any device -- you must attach small glue backed rubber spacers so that the device doesn't constantly depress the volume controls and power. Without these, my phone just restarted constantly. The instructions are really vague on how to insert the phone and how to place the spacers. Additionally, it will not work with 6" screens, even though the implication is that it will. There simply is not enough space.The optics are OK, but again not of the highest quality even for the price. They do work -- and I'm going to keep coming back to that, the device does work. However, the quality is such that you miss out on the 360 degree VR that the ad promises. There is simply too much visible outside the phone screen and the side adjustments are not sufficient to act as either a focusing device or to set it for full VR capability.Once you have the device on, the headpiece is relatively comfortable and the straps are sturdy. But once it is in place, you can no longer access the phone controls and there is no way to control the phone with the supplied equipment. That means, you have to start the VR and then quickly put on the goggles and hope that you got everything working properly. If the volume isn't right, start back from the beginning.It is supplied with a (sort of) gaming pad, but the directions for this are completely missing. You can kind of figure it out, but not very well. More information would really have helped.Finally, even after you get everything adjusted correctly, inserting and removing the phone are difficult and prone to cause breakage of other small pieces.For the cost, I think this is not a bad starter kit but is fragility causes me to believe it will not last more than a month or two before being totally useless. Additionally, while it does work, you do not really get the 360 degree full immersion promised in the ad. Maybe this was too much to expect at this price point, but it would have been good to tone down the ad to make it closer to the actual working of the device.Now one problem may be that I have a defective product. Due to the way the packaging arrived, it looks like I may not have been the first recipient of this device and that may explain some of the problems I've had.If you are just getting started in VR and full immersion is not that important to you, then this is a good starting product, but I would plan for it to be a starting point only.

The item is OK. Works well for light use, but the magnet holding the door closed is a little weak on the unit I received.Also I received the item damaged (one of the lenses had popped out)..I was able to fix. Also, there were about 10 tiny screws just sitting in the headset when I received...quality control issues? The headset is comfortable.The remote will not connect to any of my phones (clearly an issue with the remote). I contacted the seller and they said they would replace...two weeks later, no replacement. I sent another email, but no response....UPDATE:Desmond (seller) sent another unit that is working and in addition sent a hand written apology letter. I cant say enough about the seller..A+

this is a very good quality device. i was impressed with the solid structure and comfort level of it. it fits snugly on your head and is comfy. i have an iPhone 7 and it fit in there nice and snug. once you play the video and shut the compartment and get the settings adjusted right, the picture quality is excellent! i never tried the cardboard ones but i can tell you right now this is far superior to those in quality and durability. when watching the video, you can move your head around to see the different directions as if you were there in person. it's hard to believe the picture can look that good and real having the phone screen so close to your eyes, but it really works. great product for what it is! when I received it, I was surprised that the quality was above what I expected!

Works well with my LG V10 smart phone. The unit is well made and easy to use. It fits almost everyone. My 5 yoa granddaughter used it with no problems after a bit of instruction and it fit my 20 yoa grandson who is 6'2" and 240 lb. There are plenty of games on playstore for android, I do not know about Apple, as I only have android phones. I would recommend some type of blue tooth head phones or ear buds as there is no speakers.
