The sarong is a bit smaller than expected. I like to be able to tie my sarongs loosely and have some extra material to work with, but this sarong is just barely enough to tie. My waist isn’t large, this just runs smaller.

We ordered this sarong for a costume piece for my daughter's role in Mamma Mia! at school. It was to go over her bathing suit. It is quite large and it is great for this type of wear. My daughter is about 5'5" and 140 pounds, and she could wrap it and make it fit her nicely, and I am about 5'9" and 250 pounds, and I could wrap it and wear it too. So the size is good for almost anyone. The material is sheer, but covers well because of the animal print. It is not a natural fiber, however, so it might be very hot to wear in the Florida sun.

It goes perfectly as a sarong tied at the waist with my black bathing suit!
