Perfectly good flattening bit at a reasonable price.
I took a gamble paying a decent amount for an unrecognised brand versus a recognised one. I was happy to discover the bit was of a great quality. The replaceable blades are razor sharp, as my finger can attest when gripping it whilst nipping up the collet.Surfaced my spoilboard easily. Even survived taking a bite out of a screw I hadn’t quite countersunk enough.Much sharper and a much better tool than my fixed edge flattening bits.

Blades leave such a nice finish
Seems like really good quality, cuts nicely as the blades are very sharp as leaves you with a nice clean finish.Comes in a strong plastic case which can be a bit hard to open at first but this ensures that it and the blades aren't damaged. If the blades were to get damaged (not that that would seem likely) or if they just need sharpening or replacing for any reason they are removable. This bit definitely seems like more of a tool for a professional rather than a diy enthusiast.

Excellent quality
Screaming Quality, I am very impressed with the quality and completeness of this router-bit. Money well-spent on this cutter bit. This bit is more for professional use like CNC or workshop, a bit overkill for DIY.Recommend to all professional.

Big, powerful and sharp. High quality router bit
Sinoprotools Spoilboard Surfacing Router Bit 1/2" ShankI have been looking for a similar router bit to this for a while, but something this size sadly costs a lot of money. I have some window frames to make and this will be ideal for shaping some of the wood.On arrival the tool is supplied neatly packed inside a tough plastic holder. This serves a double purpose, firstly it protects the blades from accidental damage, plus it helps keep the bit dry and free from rust. I must admit I found it difficult to remove the cover from the holder as it's very tight indeed. The holder provides an airtight seal to help protect from the environment, something that's important with a tool like this costing almost 70 quid. The router bit is certainly a beast, it has a 1/2 inch shank so it should be held tightly in an appropriate router. To be honest I don't think a bit this size would be practical with a smaller size shank. This has 3 blades that are attached tightly to the bit with a set screw. The blades can be removed for sharpening or replacement, although it is unclear where to obtain replacement blades. The blades on this are very sharp indeed, after close inspection I could detect no chips or rough edges. What I particularly like is that each blade is square shaped, when attached to the router bit only 2 sides are used, when they become a little blunt the blades can be rotated to then use the other 2 sides. In use, due to it's heavy build and super sharp blades, once this is spinning it's going to cut through any timber with ease. This will easily cut a clean 2-3/8" (6 cm) wide channel into any wood. If you have a use for this I would certainly vouch for it's build quality and sharpness!CONTENTS:1 x Router Bit1 x Blade Removal Tool1 x Storage TubThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Well balanced, cuts like butter!
This is a great router bit with a 1/2" shank and 59mm rad. The cutting edges can be replaced or taken off to sharpen using the hex head bit supplied. or as they are rotatable simply flipped round to use the other two sharp edges. It didn't have any adverse vibration in the router tool and was well balanced, cut really smoothly, good sharp bit and a bit of a beast which is why its neigh on £70. Happy to recommend but possibly more for a tradesman than a hobbiest at this price point.

High Quality Bit
This bit came in a hard, yellow plastic box. The box is quite difficult to open due to the ridges that hold it closed. It does however provide a good container to carry the tool in without having to worry about damaging it or it damaging other tools stored in the same place. The bit itself is very high quality. It feels to be made of solid metal and provides a nice clean finish fairly easy. The blades are very sharp which means is can cut through most woods with ease. It also comes with the screw driver required in order to replace the blades.I would recommend this surfacing bit.

Quality tool!
My husband is very pleased with the Sinoprotools Spoilboard Surfacing Router Bit 1/2” as he’s hoping to do more woodworking soon and says this is ideal for what he needs. The yellow storage box is very difficult to open but when the two parts are separated there’s a router bit and carbide blade. It can be used for soft or hard wood, MDF, plywood, laminate, acrylic, etc. I’m not very knowledgeable about DIY but my husband says it’s very good quality and is a welcome addition to his tool collection.

Cost effective
Great router bit. Works perfectly. Has easy to replace tips so can swap out when blunt rather than get a whole new bit. Fab. 5 stars.
