Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer 5.5 Cups White Steamer NS-WSC10

This is probably the best rice cooker for the price available today. It differs from the much cheaper rice cookers in that it can keep cooked rice warm and in good condition even after 3 to 4 days. Most other cheaper rice cookers start toasting the cooked rice where it meets the pot after the first day. It cooks rice beautifully and provides all the controls necessary to cook whatever type of rice you have to cook.The 5.5 cups is the ideal quantity of rice for a couple or a small family. Not too small, not too big, but just right.

We’ve used this item so many times. Some friends bought it for us for our wedding 7.5 years ago and it’s still going strong without any problems. We have a 6-person family, so we make a lot of rice!I’m trying to make quinoa in it tonight and on this model there isn’t a quinoa setting (and I checked the zojirushi site and they didn’t list this model) so I’m trying 1.5 lime for water and 1 of their cups of quinoa and we’ll see how it goes.

Works great, already made Jasmin rice, brown rice and sticky rice all turn out great

I absolutely love it. Have had it for a fewYears. Perfectly cooked Jasmin rice. But I lost the measuring cup 😭 Ive tried other measurements and it’s not the same. If anyone knows how I can get the same measuring cup that came with the cooker I would greatly appreciate it!

Product not suitable for use in UK which uses 240V. Product only suitable for 112 V. Would be useful if seller provide this information. Very expensive return postage.
