Beeswax Mold - Makes 5 x 1 Ounce Wax Bars

I have had no problems with these molds and have used them several times. You have to make sure they are FULL to achieve 1 oz. They are sturdy and have not cracked or leaked. I am very happy with them.

As long as you keep within temperature range this mold works great. Beeswax melts slow, but at 127 degrees. Your safe under 145 degrees with this mold. So get a cheap digital thermometer and keep it within that range and your set.Also found that if I carefully put it in the fridge at 35-37 degrees it cools just in time for the next batch, maybe in the freezer at the end for 5 minutes. Now do not put wet wax in the freezer right away or you will have cracks and expansion.

Mold seems a little light and flimsy but with reasonable use should last for a long time. Since mold is about 1/3 of price from bee suppliers I can replace it and still save money.

This is very poor quality plastic mold. It warped and melted the 1st time I used it, and my wax wasn't even all that hot. Definitely would not recommend.

It works great for me! I was a little concerned after reading the reviews but I've had NO problems. It is the same plastic like an ice cube tray but I don't pour my wax when it's super, super hot (because there is more shrinkage) I wait until it's cooled off a little and then pour (like a candle). I love this mold.

This item was great while it lasted, but it melted and is no longer usable.

Used for making 1 ounce beeswax bars for resale. The mold worked perfect. Had to place them in fridge for about 10 mins to finalize the cooling process and so the wax would pop out easily. Only suggestion is buy more than 1 mold.

I used this mold to make 1oz bars of beeswax from my personal beehives. Very nice thickness of plastic. I did use a mold release spray prior to pouring wax. They came out perfect.
