It’s taller then most othersIt folds smaller than others. Better for quick Lyft trips around the city waiting. It’s quick profitable as all hell. The bag attaches to my bag. It’s sturdy I’m 200lbs. I feel okay.Dispute it folding in on itself it’s a great super quick take down and set up item. Comes in handy. Very cool. Be aware the actuall butt hight and hip hight. It’s close to the ADA HIP PRECAUTION tolerances. Or the closest I’ve seen. And yea your junk will be uncomfy but you’ll not be on your feet. , and you’ll live. lol.Great product. It’ll last and I’m buying againBeware = un even terrain could be tricky. I used only in the city in pavement waiting on rides. Or brief stays at daily retail store trips.Hobo approved

While still early in the expected lifespan for the stool, I find it to good and sturdy. I was not sure about the material connecting the bottom of the legs at first but have come to believe it is an asset in terms of stability. The seat material also seems durable and should hold up to long term use. One thing I failed to realize about the stool is the legs are two piece. Initially this was a concern to me but since have come to like since it allows the stool to more compact when not in use, while a bit taller and more comfortable when sitting. If you want a portable and packable stool for camping and hiking, I believe you will happy with this one. It is not as light as you may need is you are on long distance, multi day hikes though.

I took it to Sedona last week, so when I needed to rest my knees ( I’m 71) I didn’t have to sit on cold rocks or snow. It worked fabulous. Keeping it with me in the truck for use on local day trips as well. Well made, sturdy and comfortable and I’m a plus sized gal.

If you want to watch Mardi Gras parades, best to show up at least 2 hours early to grab a space at curbside. Then the parades themselves typically run maybe an hour behind. Long time to be on your feet at age 70+, waiting for the marching band to come 'round the corner.This tripod stool collapses down smaller than any other I've seen and is plenty light enough to clip to a belt loop with its cover's built in carabiner. The tube walls are thick and the joints are reinforced with inner sleeves. The triangular nylon piece and webbing near the bottom keep it from spreading too wide and collapsing the legs. It sets up and knocks down in seconds.And the seat itself was quite comfortable for someone of average build. (Pear-shaped individuals might be better served by a fruit crate.)I wasn't 100% convinced that either I or this fine camping stool could survive a week of Mardi Gras intact., but we both came through with flying colors and I'll never regret bringing it!

I bought this to take with me on my annual trip to PAX (a gaming convention in Seattle) where long lines are guaranteed. I have a few herniated disks, so standing for a long time is pretty much out. This chair was perfect. It's super light weight, light enough that I felt safe clipping it to the belt loop of my jeans, but not so big that it knocks around in an annoying or potentially painful way (unlike other versions I've seen). It sets up in a snap (literally if you want) and is sturdy enough to hold my not-precisely-light frame.The only other thing I can add is that I bought this after my friend bought a few of these same chairs several years back. Those lasted roughly four years with people being not exactly kind to them. Hell, his are technically still useable, but are missing their rubber feet and may have some seat tears. It's a testament to the quality of the build though that the tears in the fabric don't mean the thing immediately falls apart.In short, these things are fairly durable and do their job great. They're also the only tripod seats you can find that fold up to such a compact size.

I love the compactness of this stool as the legs fold in half. I really like that the seat is higher than many other stools I've tried.However the seat is ridiculously small--significantly smaller than others stools (about 1-2 inches on each side), and that makes it uncomfortable. Could have been a great stool otherwise.Back to the quest for a decent stool.

Small pack size, light and easy to set up. Bought primarily for eating at the table whilst camping. Good height for purpose. Promotes better posture than slouching in larger camping chairs.

I've been looking for a lightweight portable stool for outdoor painting trips. It's at a perfect height for my portable easel. It snaps together rather quickly so beware not to do this close to one's head or other body parts or you risk getting bonked. It's easy to fold up and put back in its carrying case too. The canvas fabric case is nice and sturdy, no problems with it. I haven't tested it in the field yet but it's comfortable to sit on and should be fine.
