Medium Seagrass Wood Handle Basket

I was looking for a toilet paper holder but did not want to drill holes in my bathroom tile. Tried a stick on holder which kept falling off & attaching a holder to the vanity didn't work either because the wood was too thin to hold it securely. Then I found this little gem. It fits perfectly in the corner, the neutral color goes with my decor & it's really cute! Sounds crazy to be excited about a toilet paper holder but this basket takes an item that's usually an eyesore & makes it decorative. There's room for several rolls of extra paper in the basket -- I put 4 double rolls. It's super easy & quick to change the rolls. if you look closely at the photo in the listing, you will see that the weave is loose & slightly irregular but that's not a defect, it's actually typical of seagrass woven items. So far, it never fails to get a response from guests who all say they love it & want to buy one.

The basket is just as it appears, color and size. I did have to add 2 round rubber washers at the end of the stick so that it would not fall out. I use the stick portion for a toilet paper roll and every time we used it the stick would fall out, so with the washers it works perfectly now.

This is my second purchase of this basket. I use it to hold toilet tissue. It does have an odor that is unpleasant. I solved that by sprinkling with baking soda and leaving it outside for a day. Odor gone!

I was so happy with this basket when I received it - you can see my first response below. I was remodeling my bathroom when it arrived, so it stayed in the box for 2-3 weeks. After about 20-30 days, the basket started falling apart - so it is cheaply made and I do NOT recommend this item. I sent a return request via "my orders", but apparently it didn't get delivered (unbeknown to me). I kept watching my email for a response and finally decided to reach out to the seller myself. Unfortunately, this seller will not honor my exchange request so I am out of a basket and money - very disappointing and frustrating!I absolutely LOVE this basket. So much prettier in person (& so practical). I use it for my toilet paper. Would highly recommend!

Not the typical use for this, I'm sure… but this made a perfect toilet roll holder and storage container in my awkward bathroom. (Rather than twist 90 degrees in a tight space, this sits cozily on a shelf of a standing towel rack, in front of the toilet). The simple addition of stoppers (raffia wound around the "handle") prevents the wood from shifting while making it easy remove the rod for roll replacement.

I wanted it because my toilet paper holder in my new house is in an inaccessible location. It works for what I need but like other one/two star reviews, the workmanship is very poor for the price.

What a clever idea! This basket can hold two rolls of to at a time and it works great! I've decided to get another one to use when cleaning. It will hold a paper towel roll and I can put my supplies in the basket. This would be good for camping also. It is sturdy and attractive. I have it now in the powder room.
