Better Homes and Gardens Flea Market Style Book

Great book! Lots of detail and beautiful pictures to get examples of what the writer is teaching about. Many ideas for home decorating, especially if your style is modern eclectic/ Bohemian like mine is. I already have done a few recommendations I found from this book and they turned out wonderfully! I also got turned on to new hobbies and learned new things, such as tramp art. Love this book!

AND THE INFORMATION IS PRICELESS FOR ANYONE THAT HAS A REAL PASSION FOR FLEA MARKET DECOR....Perfect reading material & photos for anyone who has a passion for vintage thrills, interior design, home styling etc. Great knowledge & looks great used as a display piece in my living room as well :)

Love this book! Filled cover to cover with amazing photos, creative ideas, fresh homes and projects. The copy is easy to read, clear and to the point. No rambling to fill pages. Most books don't have near content of this one...it keeps going and going with original ideas at each turn of the page. Something for everyone who likes to weave vintage treasures into their home. I always get my money's worth from BHG books!

I am a collector of interior design books and also an enthusiastic vintage shopper...some of the best items I have ever bought for my home came from vintage stores and flea markets. That said, this book was so inspiring that I looked at it, cover to cover, at least 3 times after it arrived in my mailbox today! I highly recommend it if you love this style of decor. I have books that cost 4 times as much that don't have half of the information that was in this one...the photography is beautiful as well. This will be a go-to book for me. I already have a list of things I saw ion the pages that I'm going to search for next time I go flea marketing. Absolutely LOVE this book!

There's not much more in the book that you couldn't get with a few magazine publications. I was hoping for more "how to" instructions.

This book is about repurposing flea market finds and displaying collections, to add character and interest to your home. The pictures give great examples and are very inspiring! The photo descriptions give back-story, insight, and encourage you to take a deeper look at each picture. The main text, however, I found to be cliche, beginner-level decorating advice, much of it based on the writer's personal taste. I stopped reading it, and focused on the photos and photo descriptions, and loved the book based on those parts. Recommend, if you're a visual person, looking for inspiration.

Very well written with easy to understand instructions. The photos are bright and colorful. Definitely the best book of this kind I have ever read. Thanks Better Homes and Gardens for a great and informative book.
